This is the saving for Christmas 2016 - A pound a day challenge:D
Back by popular demand:)
The Aim: To save a £1 a day from 1st December 2015 to 30th November 2016. How you save your £1 doesn't really matter, whether it be a £1 in a tin, an on-line account or anywhere else that suits you.
We will open our tins or have access to our accounts on 1st December 2016 and declare out total amounts saved;)
Then it's spend, spend, spend for Xmas 2016 on whatever you like.
I've had great success for the last 2 years and use a sealed tin. For 2015 I saved £2 each day instead of £1 and this really does take a lot of the stress out of Christmas, also, I have a great time counting out all my £1 coins at the end.
You soon get into the habit of putting a £1 a day away and just think this time next year you will have a healthy chunk of money towards the expense of Christmas;)
If you would like to join in pop your name down and I will allocate a number for you.
So come on everyone, decide on where you are going to keep your pounds and let's get saving!
Happy Savings:money: Happy Xmas :xmassmile Happy New Year:snow_laug
