  • Hi everyone

Just put in the rest of November's money so declaring

    £366/366

Really chuffed but as most of Xmas shopping is done now and food is being paid for by Tesc@ vouchers that I have saved up during the year I think I'm putting it towards a few outings that I want to do next year. I have got over the fact it's taken hard discipline from me to achieve this money and I'm going to spend it on me!!!!! So my Xmas present to myself!!!! Hope that's alright.

    Nannyg

Fantastic Nanny Gladys and how organised you are! Well done on achieving your target:j

How you spend your money is entirely up to you but I think you deserve to treat yourself and a few trips out sounds ideal;)

Apologies for the delay in posting but............ I've done it! £366/£366! Already being spent on presents for DH and my parents.

Looking forward to doing the same again next year/starting in December but I'm going to try to double the savings this time...

    Fantastic and Well done Vicky!

It is addictive, I started out with a £ a day and doubled it the following year. It makes all the difference to Christmas for us.

Enjoy spending your savings and I will put your name down for 2017:j

Well Done to all those who have reached their targets already. It's been a great challenge to be involved in and I look forward to the next one:T

I'm really pleased with total, I'll crack open my pot on 1st December to get my DD's presents and for a spends for my Christmas do. So pleased I have saved this will make a bit different to 2017 finances. I'm going to get some bags from the bank to cash it in.

Thank you Ellie this thread is a fab idea, please put me down for Christmas 2017 saving when you get the new thread going.
