Hi all,
The latest email says the following:
I have BT Infinity. However, when I log into my account and try to add the most basic BT TV package, the activation fee is showing as £49, not £10. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.
The latest email says the following:
Normally BT broadband customers have to pay £5/mth for the full BT Sport package. But if you've BT Infinity (fibre) and add BT TV to your package, you get full BT Sport included. The very cheapest option, Starter TV, is £0/mth with a £10 activation fee - so you can effectively save £50 over a year vs paying monthly.

Its certainly £49 through upgrade but £10 to new customers .
Check your email for a link / use web chat .0 -
The email is a little misleading if that's the case. Doesn't say anything about new customers.0

I've just tried the same and spoken to bt.
Seems the £10 activation fee is for new customers only, for the rest of us loyal customers we have to stump up the £49 activation fee.
Don't know why I'm surprised, everyone else seems to do the same trick0 -
You have to ring them up, AlrightBoy. Dial 150 and say 'Get BT Sport' and you'll be put through to a UK call centre.0

Ask to speak to a manager and politely complain. Even forward him the email, as thats not what it says.0
