Expired card

So the 'error' has been spotted by the bank and reversed??
Dunno.
I wondered if the OP had tried to withdraw £20 using an expired credit card; transaction was reject and card kept; then they withdrew £20 using their bank card and that transaction hasn't appeared on their bank statement.
These threads where an absent minded person drip feeds us with details are such fun... :rotfl:0 -
I'm confused.
The only thing I think I might be clear on at the moment is wondering if the OP probably went to an ATM, and tried two cards, one debit one credit, one of which didn't work, and the other paid out some cash.
Which is which, I'm starting to be unsure.0 -
I am wondering if perhaps the amount which originally appeared was an authorisation which was never subsequently debited to the account and has now dropped off, the confusion about credit card statement/bank statement being due to the OP's word choice.0

An expired card (which was retained) would NEVER pay out - OP seems very confused - I'm not certain what really happened here other than the expired card did not work in the ATM.0
