I think you'll find your experience is the norm. But probably best to inform the company each year that you have solar panels, just to cover your back .... even if you don't need too?
Though, thinking about it ...... nobody has asked me how much PV I have, so when I added the WNW extension, I went from telling them I had "PV" to telling them I had "PV" ...... hmmm ..... I'm not really helping here am I!
