Warning Butchers Tinned Cat Food Try Me Free Promotion

Hi people, just a heads up about the above promotion. 6 months ago, I purchased a pack of Butchers cat food and there was a promotion that you could cut out and send off to claim the money back. I did this and paid for a S.A.E. 4 months later I received nothing. I emailed them to complain and they ignored the email. They have stole my stamps and have ignored me. They are a dishonest company and if you see a Butchers promotion, I would not bother.

I would presume your stamps got miss placed and that you emailed the wrong place and or it went to the spam folder, They are a large Company and I very much doubt they would not honour the offer if all was received correctly, Try looking up the parent Company and emailing them in a polite manner to request they look at this for you.


It will hardly be a scam so offering a warning against a large Company is slightly misplaced to be fair.

Hi, I sent via recorded delivery, the address was on the packaging. You mentioned that as they are a large company they would most likely honor this promotion. Volkswagen is a large company and look what happened.

Volkswagen and cat food promotions hardly go hand in hand do they now ?


You can take my advice or leave it but getting angry over a few pound is hardly worth it, It would be resolved if you approach it correctly but I dare so you have gone in all guns blazing which really is not a way to get anything looked at or resolved.

I'm not getting angry at all, I'm just letting people know that a company did not honor the promotion. For a few pounds? What if a thousand customers do this? As for my anger! It sounds like you are angry, do you work for Butchers by any chance.

Hi, yes I checked the tracking number and it shows a signature, cheers.

I must have missed that, I couldn't see that you had said that you called them.

I assume that a human being on the other end of the phone would of sorted it out for you.

Hi, I called them, but they said they can't help, but they said try emailing which I've done twice.
