Tesco excessive delivery charges for CD

Just about to pre-order the new Adele CD from Tesco when I noticed that they are charging £7.95 for standard delivery. So I ordered from elsewhere (Base.com) and got free delivery.

Something odd going on with Tesco at the mo:

Even odder is that larger items have lower postage costs. Maybe post on their FB page and try to get an explanation?
  • Tesco have now listed this CD as free delivery after I contacted them via facebook. Anyone who has bought this Cd from them and paid the £7.95 delivery charge needs to get in touch with Tesco as they said they would refund this amount.

I wonder how many customers didn't notice that they were paying £7.95 for delivery?

I'm sorry - but if anybody "didn't notice" what they paid doesn't belong on MSE!
  • No, but they need to be.

Now that's what I call proactive. :TT

Don't just moan about it, do something about if. I bet it cost you nothing except a bit of time.

Obviously a glitch on their system.

No one would charge £7.95 to deliver a CD!
