they will continue playing until you watch them. After the hassle I've had actually getting my mag daily prizes I've decided it's not worth the time so I'm giving them up

I cannot believe the mags really expect us to sit and watch each video in full  I went off to make myself a latte and some toast and when I returned they were still playing :rotfl:

Of course they do, next step will be to make them like the videos on the old Nectar adpoints where you had to click on-screen prompts that appeared in random places on the videos - fail to click in time and you had to start from the beginning again (didn't matter much on a 20 second ad but missing the last one on a 4 min video was no fun)

When I noticed this I turned adblocker off and then refreshed the page. It went back to the form, when I clicked enter it went to the video but it didn't play it and just went straight through OK.

Many thanks for the tip Juzza12, this worked for me on FF :)

I think the last Adobe flash player update might be causing the issues we've been having with the advert videos. I deactivated the Shockwave plug in, and was amazed how much faster the mag daily pages were loading, and further more I had no problems with the Videos playing, most just skip to the next entered page . other pages that have been causing my browser to freeze are now loading fine too.

MClarkie, how do we disable the Shockwave plug in and what is it for anyway? ie do we really need it anyway? Thanks

on the PC ( using IE 11)
I've got adblocker disabled & Shockwave flash object disabled,
no vids are showing & it's going straight to the entered & green tick,
also pages are loading very quickly.
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

In FF from the menu bar, go Tools/Addons/Plugins then select Never activate in the drop down next to Shockwave Flash.

Without it you might not be able to watch your soaps on BBC iplayer ect, and quite a bit of other video content
But it is easily re-enabled after completing the Mags. some of the Vids still run in the Mags because I guess they are using HTML 5, which thankfully is where things are gradually moving over to.

Thanks! I will do that and see if it makes a difference. I don't watch iplayer on my laptop since I won a NowTV box a few months ago (with 3 months of free movies!)! :j
