Are we safe in British Gas hands?

I know this has little to do with the thread, but giraffe 69 is correct in the term 'English' with a capital e for the proper noun (also used for an adjective, as in 'The English Gentleman').
By the way, the Oxford Dictionary definition of 'pusillanimous' is lacking courage, timid or petty. I cannot agree that g-69 was any of those things when correcting your use of English (oops, there we go again). Admittedly, his lack of reference at that point to the subject matter may have been somewhat petty....as, come to think of it, is mine!

Useless saver, I take no offence as what you have said does not come from a bad place, also the way you expressed what you have to say had a friendly tone.
I do hope the essential message does come through, we need to be able to trust that where our safety is concerned, we the public are not lied to when things go wrong and every effort is made to review procedure.0 -
Why don't you kindly list the 'ingredients' of the gas that is supplied to our homes? I take it you have the quantities too?
Regards

Hi phil24_7
I do and the quantities, I originally scanned everything to do the links, but mse would not let me as a new member, the list is a long one, as soon as they let me, my friend will try again.
In the meantime please go to the co-gas safety website, a lot of the information is there! 0 -
hello all, just checking in to try and leave link to national grids list of chemicals in natural gas.
I also urge anybody involved in the penge gas leak in south london, to demand any symptoms to be taken seriously by the authorities and healthcare professionals.
Do not let them fob you off, please also google mapperleyplains, http://www.mapperleyplains.co.uk/oprus/legal.htm Please type this and the one below manually, which talks about how poison victims are treated by the government, trying to protect the multinationals, all of which have happened to me.
there are a few titles scroll through and read each of them,
Please go to co-gassafety.co.uk and type in national grid chemicals in natural gas.
Quite a few more chemicals than they usually tell us about, also it is well documented low level repeated gas exposure can be extremely dangerous to your body.0 -
Sorry, I just came across this thread.
Idaho, can you actually go through what British Gas or their engineer did wrong. Step by step with just the facts so I can get a clear understanding.
Thanks!0
