  • Right, thanks for the advice and encouragement to fight this. The company for those asking is Park Watch limited.
I have appealed to them directly, they've rejected it on the grounds I should have used the pay and display adjacent (which was full and accepting no further cars through the barrier) I explained we were there less than 5 minutes, with the driver in the car, they informed us it's no parking or waiting so that's irrelevant.
They've advised me if I wish to continue with any appeal to contact Popla. I've read the newbies thread as advised, however how should I construct this next appeal letter to them or should I in fact send further correspondence to the PCN issuer?

    Look forward to your replies,
    many thanks

You'll get no further in corresponding with the PPC. Have you received a POPLA 10-digit verification code in the rejection letter? If so:

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #3 which explains the POPLA process and links you to some recent examples of comprehensive POPLA appeals to use as a guide (not a copy and paste template) to help you draft your own POPLA appeal.

You can put your draft up here for regulars to give it a quick look-over to check you've got the main points covered, but we don't provide a proof reading service nor a line-by-line critique.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Yes, they forwarded me a code, I'll get on with it today and let you know how I get on.

    Thanks, Gareth
