For October, very possibly - but for November?0 -
if you were paid by BACS on FRIDAY then it will take FRIDAY (day 1), MONDAY (day 2) & you should get the money before 5am on TUESDAY (day 3).
If your colleague was paid by BACS and they got their money between 00:01 and 05:00 on FRIDAY morning then the company SIMPLY MUST have sent the payment on WEDNESDAY.
I would be asking why your wages have not been processed on the same day as your colleagues.Total Credit Used...=........£9,000 / £52,700
Mortgage..............=........£138,000 , 20 Years left.
:starmod:CC cashback for this year..=........£112.88 £205.81 banked in 2015

Is it not the duty of my company or at least their payroll team to at least re-check if they have the correct bank details speacially when an employee is claiing their wages have not been recieved?0 -
I think what some posters are overlooking is that other employees have already received their salaries. That strongly suggests that the BACS payment was originated a few days ago with a payment date of the 13th. So the options for the OP not getting paid seem to be:
1) Wrong account details provided
2) Nationwide process the file from BACS with a later date (I feel this is unlikely as my salary is paid to my Nationwide account and it arrives on the last business day of each month.
3) The employer failed to include the OP in the November payroll run.0 -
I have read the OP but have skipped the rest in an attempt to address one or two issues only. I'll come back and read the rest in a minute.
With regard to 'initiating ' a BACS, one month a set of payments from our firm to our suppliers was 'initiated' but not actioned. Although I do not do the BACS payments, our Accountant told me that though the payments had been initiated, the final submit had not been done. We obviously rectified that immediately. However, if others have been paid, this does not seem to be the case for you, unless there has been a bank error or your bank details have been wrongly entered, or you have changed your account details recently and your employer has not amended them.
Alternatively, is it possibly a bank error?
In either case, whether a mistake by the employer or the bank, either the employer or the bank, whichever responsible, should pay any costs incurred by you because of the mistake. I can assure you my firm did when we made the initiate/submit mistake.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Sorry, the other thing I meant to write, but forgot, was check your contract of employment. Ours say our employees will be paid by the 25th. This means if. The 25th of any month falls on a weekend, our employees will be paid early. In December it's extra early so our people are okay for Chrimbo shopping (including any Christmas bonus).“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. Assuming they use BACS - whilst it is a 3 day cycle, the actual debit/credit happens overnight on day 2 to arrive on day 3.
If it's not arrived by Monday morning, then approach your work ask them to re-send (or provide you an advance by Faster Payment / Cheque) until the funds can be located.
Sounds to me like they haven't been sent or sent to the wrong details. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Maybe they forgot/left you off the payroll in Oct? so once you complained they paid it right away, only they chose BACS so you'll have to wait three days.
I've had this happen before.
However did they at any point inform you, your first pay date would be 15th November (13th)?0 -
Most companies pay by BACS, and the funds are in your account for the start of the day two working days later.
When your "payday" falls on a weekend, most companies move the payroll forward to accommodate. As your payday is normally 15th, your company will normally send the BACS payment on the 13th. As the 15th fell on a Sunday, they would have run payroll and sent payments on the 11th to reach bank accounts on the 13th.
As others have said if your colleagues have been paid then it sounds like your employer messed up, and if they've told you they've made the payment on Friday (13th) then it should be in your bank account on Tuesday (15th).0
