Highlights of the comparisons from a C & C shop done this morning

    A v M 2x Young's Mariner's Pie (340G) £2.00 £1.00 (Are these really only 50p at M's?)

    A v T 1x Ocean Spray Cranberry & Raspberry Juice Drink (1LT) £1.00 £0.67

    A v T 1x ASDA Grower's Selection 2 Hearts Of Romaine Lettuce (2PK) £1.24 £0.90

Yes, they are! Or not actually 50p but 67p and 2 for £1.
I know - I could not quite believe that on Monday. The price had fallen a lot. I was even more surprised when it still kept at that pricing on Wednesday. Maybe they have a deal with Young's, like they may have had with Princes juices.

My last Morries shop (in A) was a success. However, back to the old form now:(. I tried some own brand soft drinks vs M (resorting to paying for drinks given no recent glitches... and it's Christmas!:D The old excuse for spending money:(:rotfl:) and they failed to pick one up so missed the mix and match.

I tried Limeade NAS and Diet Dandelion and Burdock. They picked up the Diet D&B (full price M 54p therefore and not 2 for 90p) but not the Limeade NAS:(. I think the issue may be that the Limeade NAS - I made sure I picked that instore - is described just as CBY Limeade (2L) on the comp. so they're thinking it's regular sugar in A and therefore failing to compare against M's Limeade NAS. Typical as the mix and match I picked would have worked vs T as well:mad::rotfl: (same pricing as M - 2 for 90p). I'm sure I saw Diet D&B fail to pick up T a few days back! Which is why I went vs M - that particular one worked but, due to the Limeade, I didn't get the M mbuy. I was more wanting to pick the Tropical Zero as well - but thought there might be an issue with that vs M - I bet that would have worked!!

I think I might have had more luck if I'd just picked up two random ones rather than making sure in advance that M had exactly the same version of each one I picked. All that for a still failure to get the price comp. I wanted.

So, it's something like 24p lost - and the soft drinks won't taste as nice now I've paid too much:(. Even if I get a nearly £5 womble it still feels bad:rotfl::rotfl:. I shall have to try to forget that they part-failed. The Trifle Sponges compared 88p vs M price 60p though. (So they'll taste nice:rotfl:.)

    Good evening all...

I'm sorry I've not been around much over the last week or so...

we have an acute case of teenage angst....from the 17 year old who is now doubting going to university....
and also from the soon to be 14 year old who is just growing up.....

nothing life threatening .....but it has been a very draining week.

Really hope that everyone is well and that I can get back into the gang....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

    Good evening all
Has anyone that printed the Yazzoo Smoothie vouchers found them yet. If so, where please ?
I have tried T, A, and S without any luck, nor sure if they are chilled or with the ordinary juices.
