    Thankyou bubbs and LEJC.

I'm not familiar with boots website but I just checked stock and it stated oos so I think there could be some hope that there is stock at the one you checked LEJC. I'm sure it's that no 1 set she showed me and I would be more than happy to cover all costs incurred LEJC. Don't worry if you don't get chance though as I know how busy December can get. Thankyou for your help :)

Thanks for the Anniversary wishes bubbs, tweets & TM. Not read back so sorry if I've missed thanking anyone else. Ooh and TM guess what was waiting for me at my Cotswolds cottage ? :) xx

    Was it champagne?

I thought it was probably a little over the top actually especially as I am not a regular on this thread - it is a bit annoying though when people take a moral position on others who are simply obeying the law.

Which is the best thread on MSE or elsewhere to get good advice on matters such as the scenario I posted earlier?

    Thanks

I'm sorry, I missed it was your anniversary (sometimes I get taken back to the last post I read, other times I don't so seem to miss chunks :o). Happy anniversary. :)

I Christmas shop in the New Year Sales too tweets :money: Only trouble is that my perception of what gifts should cost is massively skewed :o I refuse to buy anything gifty if it hasn't been discounted by at least 50% so buying generally stops until just before xmas when the discounts start kicking in again :rotfl:

I have quite a lot of nieces, nephews, parents, inlaws, kids and grandkids to buy for so the January Sales get hit hard each year :D

Yep I have a cheeky pup! Brewster was 8 weeks old when we got him and he's 8 months old now  He is an akita staffy cross and in between both sizes but he is so bouncy! He is a lovely soft dog, so mard - he cries when we come home for about 10 minutes, he is training up well. He sits, gives paw, his recall is good and he dances in a circle on his hind legs for a treat :T Just having problems stopping him from jumping up at people....he gets so excited. He is a gorgeous dog though :)

Brewster chilling after a walk with my dh :D

    Awe Brewster is gorgeous :A

Poppy is a one for jumping up when people visit but she soon settles. Don't think auto armadillo will agree that she soon settles :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning All,

Someone owes me a considerable amount of money, they are ignoring my texts and phone calls.

I know where they live so can go around and try and sort it out but things could get nasty, I'm thinking I might have to report them to the police but is that OTT?

Has any member of the elite ever been in a similar situation to this and can offer me some advice?

    Thanks,
    Sad_Dad

TCP I use on cuts, TCB I used to be a brand ambassador but got fed up due to poor tracking, however I would happily refer you as a friend for a bonus for both of us. Pluses of TCB id that you can cash out up to £50 pa into Tesco CC points for double up and more purposes and there are some retailers that are sometimes only on one or the other in which case you can not use HCP.

headforpoints has a link for 1000 clubcard points for new joiners. can you beat that?

    Good evening all...

I'm sorry I've not been around much over the last week or so...

we have an acute case of teenage angst....from the 17 year old who is now doubting going to university....
and also from the soon to be 14 year old who is just growing up.....

nothing life threatening .....but it has been a very draining week.

Really hope that everyone is well and that I can get back into the gang....

A lot of 17 year olds get nervous of A level results and think it may be easier to not have the pressure of meeting grade offers. Part of life I'm afraid.
