    Glad you sorted it:T

We have been on loads of coah holidays, Germany, France, Austria, Hungry , Spain, used to go 2 or 3 times a year, we always took sandwiches , s rolls, crisps, CHOCOLATE:rotfl: all snacky thngs and plenty of drinks, what company is he going with?
Did you tell him about headlights?
On another note dont know if you know but massive fire at Hungry Horse sixfields, i went up to argos and it was chaos when i was coin back, traffic queuing right down to far cotton:eek: luckily i was coming other way, think i must have just got there as it started, but this wind will be making it hard for the fire brigade :eek:

:T:T:T hope you had a good and safe ride
    :eek::eek::eek::eek: that sounds rude:rotfl::rotfl:

Company called Coach Innovations. Forgot to tell him about headlights (told you my memory is shocking at the moment!) but will. I saw the fire on facebook, then my daughter rang me to tell me as she is at her boyfriends and he lives over that way. Must be something about restaurants at Sixfields after Red Hot burnt down as well.

I wondered if I can pick your brains, as you're such a clever lot!

DS is going on a coach trip to Disneyland Paris for New Years Eve. Am pretty jealous, would love to go but not in a position to healthwise this year. Anyway, I digress....

He leaves at 7.30pm on 30th, and will be back around 10am on 1st. 2 nights sleeping on a coach.

He wants it to be as cheap as possible, so looking for food ideas that might survive that length of time. I think he is going to take a cool box with ice blocks on the coach, so I suggested he could freeze some sandwiches and pasties.

Anyone done this kind of thing before and have some good ideas?

Dependent on what he drinks, freeze bottles of water and 'carton' drinks as these help keep the other food frozen for longer. Remind him to take out the food that he wants to eat a couple of hours before he wants to consume it. Cartons of pringles survive better that crisps.

Thanks MKS. He is happy to drink water and squash, so they'll be great to freeze and as you say, can be used to help keep other food cold. I'm sure from all these suggestions he will go off with a feast! :D
  • Thank you Rockingham!

T are sending me a £6 gift card to cover the discrepancy in their BG re my shop earlier today.

They say there is no reason why the M prices should not have been picked up via the system and will be ensuring it gets updated asap.

    Pleasing outcome. Thank you. :T

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I've not been around to update on my dog situation but I've been preoccupied with Rocco, my new puppy :)

I did try to adopt a rescue dog but the rescue messed me around for a week then gave the dog I wanted to someone else :( They said he wasn't suitable for my home but didn't explain why. He wasn't suitable for the home they gave him to as he was returned to rescue a few days later, I don't know what happened. I was so upset that after taking up my time asking pointless questions and wanting to home check my family as well as myself they treated me like this with no explanation so I bought a puppy from a private seller. I know some of you won't approve but I needed a dog that would get on with other dogs where I spend a lot of time and I didn't want to wait any longer after the rescues I'd dealt with were quite unhelpful.

Anyway Rocco has now settled in well and I couldn't be happier with him. He's hard work but worth it for the joy he brings :) He's an 8 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier
