Yes Pepsi (normal, diet & max) is £5-87 for 30 cans in Morries as I have seen it in store. It has been for over a week and was still on offer yesterday when I was in there hth

They won't compare favourably against M - they were not on offer in M on Monday so it needs to wait for the Wednesday price data to be put into the system before they are to be bought. I felt they were quite small size:rotfl:.

I would not give it another go tomorrow - I doubt the price data will be in the system by then (especially if it's an early shop). Patience is very much needed.

Thanks for the advice Savvybuyer, I will wait it out until the updates are through!

In fact the Diced Carrots & Swede that I bought on Tuesday are even worse (or better from our POV). They are 60p for only 450g in M (and 500g in A) so that, if that compared correctly against M, it would be M at 66p or maybe 67p! That N/A, for now, is certainly a help - if you bought them accidentally against M (they are Avs S 50p). Whoopsies are cheaper:wall::rotfl:.

Alright, I've had a busy night so not getting much else done and won't get to the M list right away (probably be very leisurely dealing with it over the next few days, bits at a time - I just feel like that!) - just don't buy the Football Celebration Cake and the Pitted Dates have gone up in M. There's tinkering to be done later - otherwise, not much to catch you out (I hope).

Talking of things N/A against M (under the Monday price collection, no guarantee anything will stay the same), and my spate of picked-up receipts that came out all cheaper at M - unusual three times over it seems:rotfl: - one of them, that they said was cheaper at M by 4p, actually they were probably cheaper than M - someone bought nearly 1.5Kg of loose new potatoes - so the comp. (vs M) was something like this:

1.46 x ASDA New Potatoes by weight (check weight etc.) £2.91 N/A

    That's at £1.99/kg in A.
I think they're probably the most expensive loose potatoes in M. They are £2.97/kg there! So, that should have been £2.91 vs £4.34!:rotfl::rotfl: It would have slashed the voucher right down; instead, thanks to that N/A:D, it came out alright!

    I'll see you later:wave:.

Of course I'll know the very second I see any minor change on the comps. and be able to announce when "we're on Wednesday!". If I happen to be here at the time - I think a need a little time away I'll be back probably late on this evening (Thursday).

But do they compare on the APG?:rotfl:
That's the key question on everyone's lips. Still £11:eek::eek: in A according to online. Would anyone risk those ones?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On the Morrisons price collections, you do have to be careful not to shop too early (if you want new pricing - or too late if you want expired pricing). I wanted new prices once. This was a number of years back when I was first starting - and I shopped too early. It turned out, although I waited until I checked, the price data hadn't been updated at the time I shopped so the old prices were the prices that applied. This was despite the fact it was my usual "evening after" the price collection day - the data, that week, happened to be delayed until the next day (two days after whichever collection it was).

So if, for example, you shop on a Tuesday, but the data doesn't get updated till Wednesday morning (which we have sometimes seen), it doesn't matter if you wait until after the update - your shop will always have been done on the Tuesday (you can't do anything to change the date you shopped!) and if the data wasn't updated that day, you get old data. I'd wait till we know whether prices have changed before shopping - it may be Thursday evening (it seems to be settling around the evening after the price collection days) but, unless we know it has, I'd give it at least another day and I wouldn't be shopping early on Friday - for all we know, it might come later on Friday. I know I'm being cautious - but it's best to wait and have a chance of something being picked up rather than have what would always have been a failure.

I know - it's hard to be patient sometimes - we're all eager to get out and shop straight away and can't wait to get the shopping done - I have that feeling myself sometimes - but we have to resist!

At least with vs M, I think you can get some normal shopping done occasionally as M do have some good offers sometimes. Not like vs Sains. where you can add virtually nothing else as Sains seem to me to be so expensive and the offer prices no good!

    Alright, goodnight!
