I am extremely supportive to him (to his face and :eek: when with my friends). I keep reminding myself that the total lack of budget - who starts building a house with £500 in the bank.... :eek::eek:

But we are only actually doing it when we can afford to, and he is doing everything himself (apart from facing bricks). He has said that it will be semi-liveable next year.... but I do not have any expectations.

A wise woman once told me to never have any expectations, and then you cannot be disappointed!!

I don't know about the enemy nerf but my definition of war is Defence of the Realm regardless of the weapons that your enemy may/maynot have at their disposal. I do not say that lightly and I also say it as a woman of Irish Catholic heritage but I mean it, Defence of the realm against an enemy that we cannot talk to/ cannot negotiate with because what they want is for me to die. That is what they want from me, they want me to die.

Sad times, serious times nerf..so get your weird photos and funny jokes ready.. we will all need them.
