Do they? :o I haven't built up enough to withdraw yet and was just looking for something to push me over the £20. Everything so far has tracked and confirmed for the right amounts - what have you heard??

I'm sure I read the T&Cs a while back and it said something about them retaining some of your cashback as their commission

I meant get the charges cancelled, she has set a cap now and he has turned off mobile data.
He says he doesn't use it when out but I think he does , it is always glued to his ear , I am on the phone to them now but it is not looking good.
He has been charged for days when he hasn't left the house though and he has free wifi at home.

The wi-fi at home will only work if he has wi-fi turned on on his phone and has linked his phone to his home wi-fi by signing into it from his phone.

Also, if his phone is an iphone, some models default to mobile data even if near wi-fi. There is a way to turn this off in the settings, but as an owner of an iphone 4s my phone doesn't do this so i can't help with instructions.

    What phone is it ?

You need to go to settings and switch off/untick smart network switch. ( That's what it's called on my Samsung)

That switches to mobile data when you get a weak wifi signal. Lots of people with the new iphones got caught out on that one.

Edit: How to turn off on new iphones

It is a Samsung, I have upgraded him to a £10.00 a month plan now, should have done that to start with.

With regards the Gift/Savings cards ...

I use them all year round to be a bit a bit more anonymous to stop my CC being linked to APG's, and also to allow small spends without needing to carry cash, or using the CC for tiny purchases.

In reality, there is no loss of interest as I would not hold that money in an interest bearing account anyway, and if I did it would be an Instant Access giving a bit less than 0% anyways :(

So, every so often I put £150 on a GC, and then use that to buy my shopping, with or without APG's.

Personally, I don't see the point in in routinely putting APG's on GC's as you have 'overspent' in the first place to get it, so are just using more 'real' money that then goes on the GC.

However, contrary to that point, there would be the benefit in mid-November of getting up to a 4% boost (£6 on £144), but not sure if it is worth the negative cashflow during the year to get that ??
  • I love his books. Have you tried Dean Koonz?

I have tried a few of his, enjoyable if no Stephen King available :)

    Good afternoon Elite.

I hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

The sun is shining here but it's a tad breezy! Enjoy your day.

    And welcome to Kmet.

Won't they charge me whatever they sub them with ? Plus fillers of course. Last day today I think and I still haven't got my head round it. Thank you
