In fairness they did state across their website that due to unprecedented demand deliveries would take 5-7 days (from memory). Of course nothing unprecedented about it, they just didn't get sufficient resources put in place!

I knew that. Was just surprised that T can tell me it is despatched on Monday but I shouldn't expect it in store until Friday.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. savvy,
thanks for mentioning the iron tablets in M, will have a look later in the week.
I priced them up in my local chemist who quoted £23 for a pot of 100!!
I was saying now's the time not to buy them:rotfl:. They've gone up, as far as I know, from 66p to 75p (and that requires you to buy as part of M's 4 for £3). Of course they have been straight £1 for a while in between. Nonetheless, you could mix and match with items such as Blister Plasters and Calamine Lotion (even though they're available in A) and Stretch Dressing Slips for example. I only mention that as mbuy SELs have a habit of disappearing from some of them in my stores, so that it's best to look online first (as always!) rather than going to M and trying to work out what's in the offer from the shelves.
It's supposed to be £1 health and beauty is 4 for £3. That seems to be true of items such as Nivea Talc and Radox Bath Salts (again, both available in A) and various handwashes, the Radox Bath Soaks, some tampons, ignore the Ladies' Grip Razors as they've been 66p in the past too - and forget the Decongestant Tablets - they seemed to join the original offer from being 65p for ages (of course the individual price is now £1:eek:). The Colgate Triple Active Toothpaste (100ml) available more expensively than M's offer price in Aldi and also available, probably pointlessly, in T is also still on the 4 for £3 offer even though I have one errant store that now has it showing individual £1.39 price (and no mbuy SEL). There are also some Colgate Max Fresh Toothpastes that are now on offer price £1 but do not seem to be in the 4 for £3 offer according to any SELs in my stores. They should be, in my view, if it's health and beauty at £1 that's 4 for £3.
I'm also not happy, elsewhere, with the Regina Belle Kitchen Towels - the 2 per pack are now on £2 price (reduced from £3) and, whilst they've largely gone for me, I still have the 3 for "the price of 2" in one store. However, they are £3. They're in a different place in the store and which £3 pricing showing and :(they scanned yesterday at £3. So, not for the "price of 2" at all. It seems that the rolls are different sheets per roll. They're all different - 1 roll pack is 100 sheets, 2 rolls pack is 140 and 3 supposedly "for the price of 2" is 210 sheets. So, they could argue that you're getting more sheets per roll in the 3 roll pack. However, if that's so, are they saying that they are selling some 2 per pack straight packs, with 210 sheets per roll, at £3? The SELs are not specific about sheets per roll: they just say, for me, something like "Regina Belle 2 pack" and then the £2 offer price. Otherwise, if 3 "for the price of 2" (210 sheets per roll) are £3, then the 2 pack 210 sheets per roll are non-existent. So what is "the price of 2"? I note that when the Regina Belle straight 2 per pack were £3 last week and before, so were the 3 "for the price of 2" pack. I did not notice what sheets per roll were in each pack then. I suspect nothing's changed: as I doubt they've shifted all stock out in order to bring in different sheets packs - and, if so, then if the Regina Belle 2 pack was 210 sheets last week, when it was £3 and the 'extra free' pack also the same, but if the 2 pack is now 140 sheets per roll, then the crossed out £3 and now £2 would be doubtful as it would then suggesting a reduction when in fact the 2 packs last week were more sheets per roll? You'd be paying £1 less - but getting a much smaller rolls pack for it!
Whatever the situation, it seems very crafty to me - to have a 2 pack that has subtly different rolls, to have a 3 pack (supposedly "for the price of 2") that is priced at the same price per roll and nothing free compared to the 2 pack, which is different sheets per roll, and not have a 2 pack that is equivalent to the 3 "for the price of" at all (as far as I know). Perhaps they expected the extra "free" packs to be sold out by now in all stores, before they put the 2 pack on offer. I will not have 2 packs at £2 nor will I buy 3 pack (for the alleged "price" of 2) at £3, as both of those prices are IMO too expensive! I would like 3 for the price of 2 at £2! Of course the stock, for me, in my store, is in different places and people in the kitchen rolls aisle can see the straight 2 per pack and it's £2 price. They might not have walked past the 3 for... packs. I did not try to get 3 for 2 rolls at £2 but I chickened out of any confrontation:(. People might be able to push it with them, if they can find their store with both sizes of packs, and it's only me that then went and examined both packs extremely closely.
Although I'm not too happy about it, and have been (probably) way too generous in giving them the benefit of the doubt and letting them off on a technicality, I've removed the Regine Belles from any new list in order to avoid any bother.
So, they still have the 3 for the price of 2 at £3. There are laws relevant to these matters as well, as the packs make a claim that they are "for the price of 2" and that there is "50% extra free". They therefore do have to be sold "for the price of 2" (whatever that is). "The price of 2" could change in M itself and could vary between different retailers. However, those 2 per packs in M stores, are they different? Therefore, another 2 per pack but with the same number of sheets per roll, could be £3. However, is it misleading to claim that they are for the price of 2 if you then don't stock any 2 packs at £3? (Maybe they have some 2 pack (210 sheets) at £3 in one store in the country.) Or maybe Regina Belle should be asked if they even make any 2 per pack 210 sheets per roll. They'd properly refer you to RRPs if M itself doesn't stock them.
At least the iron tablets still seem cheaper than the chemist's quote:rotfl:.0 -
strange practice, no parent is alowed inside the school at ours......all children led to door at home time and released to parent....appointments for discussion or go to office.
Then when you return to pick them up all children have their coats on and are sitting on the mat . Teacher calls the name of each child as the adult enters .0 -

The heinz pasta didn't work for me at around 10am, multi picked up on APG.
Edit: Is the APG machine likely to have had an update around midday? Thanks.
No.. very strange.. timings have changed.. a week ago this would have worked. did you do a shop at 10am or 8am to get the results at 10 am?
I tried 3 glitches.. none of them worked which is very unusual for a tuesday one.
Other ones that should work are (not very good returns)
Mug Shot
Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup
Pot Noodle
Volvic Orange
Plus the one I just tested again!0 -
Crikey. Is that normal?? Can't you get prescription if you need iron? I had to and at that cost I'm pleased I didn't have to buy them outright!
Thanks dawn, I was shocked at £23 for 100, more shocking than savvys price of £3 for 360 or the price of a prescription, so thanks savvy for your expensive price. xcurl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

Morning everyone!
If you are after a good iron supplement I can recommend Spatone. It's basically sachets of iron-rich water but really works. I don't know how it works but totally sorted my anaemia out when nothing could for years. Amazon sells it cheap.
Brilliant thanks, not heard of these before will have a browse. xcurl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0
