Bruge is so lovely, sorry not read back, been busy, eating, walking sightseeing, really pretty place. The waffles are gorgeous. It's our last day today, ferry crossing at 5. Catch u all soon.
Hope you have a good crossing
One of the cunard ships coming out of Southampton last night the captain said it was going to be very rough coming into the channel, force 8 and 9 and told everyone to take sea sickness pills - not an encouraging start“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
A bit of a facebook warning
I know lots of you have thousands of friends on your FB list, open to all and sundry and you post everything on FB and use it as your means of socialising etc
Others have a very small select band of devotees - I belong to the latter camp - just family and a few people I do comps with - I use FB for comps and sharing freebies, posting photos and I belong to various groups eg a local comping group, Archers, anything to do with cruises
On the messages section if you are using a mobile device eg phone or iPad the only messages you can see are from people on your list. There is a box called 'other' where messages go from people who don't belong but you can only see this if you go on the main computer. Say for instance you won a FB comp and the company notified you via FB messanger that message would go into your 'other' box - this is why things get missed - I missed out on a good prize earlier in the year as a message went in the 'other' box and I didn't pick it up until it was too late.
Now though FB are changing it so these other messages will come through as a notification which is good in some ways
It also means though that random strangers can message you and also people from your dim and distant past who you would rather did not bother you
My OH is on the new system already and he had one of these messages this morning and he asked me if I knew the name. I did but I pretended ignorance. I just told him to block it - go to settings.
The message just asked how we both were which in itself would freek most people out - not seen this person since before a relative died about 8 years ago.
So I've done the same, blocked the person. I don't need random messages from my dim and distant past and if there are people you no longer know or care about then it might be a good idea to do likewise.
My OH FB page is mainly to do with trains, a few funny pics of cats but mainly trains and more trains so someone was fishing around which in itself is enough to unnerve me“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Thank you -- and thanks to Lily for the heads up. Not quite all. Sadly my stuffed pasta has only gone down to £2 but I think I will try to use a combination of the £1 and 50p vouchers for it as it is rather wonderful.
Barilla has, I think, reset for me now, but I'm a bit confused about which email address I used yesterday for 50p vouchers!0 -
I don't post here often but had to come out after reading about weevils.:o I've just discovered some bags of flour in my storage cupboard have weevils in them.
All Asda Smart Price flour are infested (they all have BBD of May/June 2016) and a few other bags from other supermarkets had a few crawling on the bags, but not inside the bags.
I'm pretty sure Asda flour was the source of the said insects! I called Asda' s helpline but they just said take them back to the store. I don't want to take those bags back to the store though, I have about six bags of them so they may think I didn't store them properly or something... So yes, watch out for weevils in Asda flour
