How many Christmas cakes you eaten this week?:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hey bubbs :)

Glad to see your health improving :)

I have been very good this week even though my friend bought me another one for my birthday , it has been sat on the side for a whole 6 days ;) I would like to say its because I have been really good but I think it's more the fact my friends oh made a sticky toffee cake and I have been eating that all week :rotfl:

Barilla did not work for me just now. I know I made a mistake and included wholewheat spaghetti but unless the SA scanned all the spaghetti together so I did not have ten items, I don't know what happened. Note to self: continue to get 12 items in case of mumpty SA.

I would be glad to know if it works for anyone else after 2 pm please. (I've been hunting receipts to try and work out what might have happened, hence the delay in posting.) I want to get some pasta for my brother who struggles to bring up his kids on his own. Thank you in advance.

But proceed with caution if you were not doing so already!

2x BARILLA MEZZE PENNE TRICOLORE 500G
    - £3.00 n/a n/a £1.50

Having calmed down after my panic at the checkout earlier today and comforted by RockyRose's post, I decided to get rid of the various 50p MOCs in my bag as they will become fairly useless soon. So I checked the list (and the wholewheat pasta is one of the possibles) and ventured forth again. This time I carefully separated the two types of spaghetti and when the SA started to group my pastas together, pointed out that they were all different. She got the message!

This time the BG kicked in. I bought bananas, apples, two pacs of cheap pasta for the foodbank and 15 Barilla items, 8 different. (After the price goes up again in January I may well pop some of the Barilla pasta in the foodbank as I have loads of it now.) After the BG and my coupons, a mixture of £1 and 50p ones, the price to pay was just over £2. So am very pleased with myself! Am contemplating making bags in the colours of the Italian flag and creating an Italian Barilla 'hamper' as a present.

I'm to bed soon, but really hoping that the Barilla items reduced at T from Wednesday might include this sort of thing:

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=286283687

They are very yummy -- I sometimes bring them home when I am in Italy -- and are a meal in themselves with oil and parmesan. They are my treat meal.

My T SAs have been taking vouchers like lambs. They have scanned the cidre ones and the Barilla ones without checking that I have bought the correct number of items and without scrutinising them very closely either. Is this just my store or T policy do we think?

Hi all, hope you are all well.
Busy busy day, and still have more work to do :(
I have no Barilla vouchers, I guess it's too late to start collecting them now:)

No it's not. Do it now, but I also think it may work tomorrow, if I read the t&cs correctly. See earlier posts today for details. :)

    Thank you.
Don't buy the Oreos just yet as they are now 50p and 3 for £1 in M, or those McVities Jaffa Cakes as they are now straight 50p. Or the Gourmet Perles as they are now £3 each. Seems like they bought a few there in advance of M's offers:(.

Meanwhile, I think that Listerine has gone up in price in M so I do not expect it to keep comparing against £2.
