you've not been shy of posting photos tonight Henlans so a photo of your 950 points on the gift cards would be very welcome. you've did it loads to get so many Currys and Next GC by your own admission so don't be shy0

oh dear no photos are forthcoming.
you might not listen to me but I'd say to you all that loading up on gift cards is not a good idea. We have all seen many companies fail in recent years. if you are left with a large amount of gift cards for any company that goes down, you will be left with a handful of useless plastic.
DO NOT think investing in gift cards is a good idea. it isn't
and some big companies have gone down. this is bad adviceX

Savvybuyer wrote: »I wondered whether it was pointless earlier on - not many receipts at all as the rain seems to be making people just keep them in their pockets and leave as quickly as possible. I wish we had a dry day, especially in the run up to Christmas. That one earlier on, with the glitch, that ended up with a penny:(. It should be good at this time of year (now to Christmas) as more people are shopping (so, more wombles!) and stores have various offers on and try to capture market share in this crucial period. I think we definitely need the Baileys offer to end in A (sadly for those here shopping from T) - that's not helping and I can see why - they have right at the front of my store in front of everyone's eyes:(. For the wombles to be even better, I need good alcohol offers to be on elsewhere.
The rain seems to have caused a lot of people to put off shopping I felt. However, they will now need to do shopping at some point this weekend - which is today:D. However, it still proves you can get good ones (or at least okay - nothing in the order of £4 or upwards this time - most of them (longer bills where 10% off would otherwise be much more) have bought A's cheaper items in them and cut them down to a couple of quid at most) . Still, I've got more back each time than the real cash I've spent (in fact 33p on a loaf of bread:rotfl: as I forgot to take my GC on that occasion - though I do treat my GC as more my real money).
Let's hope the wombles improve in this period to Christmas!
Bye for now folks:wave:.
i dont go out in the rain, i have one of these0 -

Was a good day for the school, PTA raised £1,690 for the school. :j:j:j An amazing amount.
It is difficult as Dad is still a % compos mentis but the last time the doctor asked his wishes, he went berserk, saying that the doctors just wanted to let him die.
When my dad was asked his wishes he was asked by his nurse. He was already on a dnr so there were not any other wishes to be discussed. Dad was of sane mind right to the last day.
I think if your dad wants to have an input let him. If he has not come to terms with it yet then best you help and know he can change it as anytime he only has to ask. I hope it goes smoothly for you though. Big hugsxfairclaire wrote: ». I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back

I'm accompanying a woman who works for a major supermarket next week to a disciplinary hearing. She's been put on a disciplinary for accepting vouchers she shouldn't have. I won't say which supermarket or what vouchers as you all know where I live and I wouldn't like to identify her.
you might describe her as a muppet. I know her as a woman who's terrified of losing her job and is doing it because she's trying to keep her family afloat because her husband is unable to work at the moment. Just be aware that supermarkets are putting this stuff on innocent members of staff and they are disciplining them for it.
I hope the 'muppets' you find aren't in the same boat. We all like a glitch but not at the expense of another person's livelihood.
I'd really love to see proof that you got 950 CC points from a £50 spend on GC BTW. Zippy asked and you blanked him. if you got it, then let's see it.
Blame the voucher issue on lack of training and ask for a copy of the transcript. Make sure your friend reads what has been written down to verify nothing is out of places.
Blaming the training is always a life saver.0
