There is a £20 off voucher floating about for sweaty betty as well.

TM, just ignore their obvious gloating and winding up, especially about the fizz.
    :p

Think the £20 off voucher for Sweaty Betty has finished :(
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Whilst I'm not getting round to anything:( because I'm a bit tired - and therefore I'm relaxing:T- I did have the A own brand chilled flavoured milks - the Banana 1L and the Strawberry 1L - picking up the M mbuy of 2 for £2 between them on a womble tonight.

I've checked them all but will try to go over them later - there are no glitches but just things to post.

I don't tend to include the 1L own brand flavoured milks after they go from straight £1 onto 2 for £2 in M, because I think a mix and match might not work - also it's buying more - it's buying more than was necessary if you'd bought weeks ago and compared under the old offer. However these two have picked up the mbuy on the data that's currently being used. However, the (long-life) Yazoo milk drinks 1L have already gone down to 85p in A, so they got deleted off the list a couple of weeks ago as A went to more than 10% cheaper.

According to msm, they might be fillers vs W.

I also had the Surf Tropical powder 45 wash:( bought on a womble. No good buying that at £4.50 in A - with everywhere else being much more expensive! However, interestingly (it might wake up me!:D:rotfl:) (or not interestingly), it failed to compare against T:T (didn't produce a voucher though as rest of shop was too cheap:laugh: - or, more to the point, wrong items bought) - maybe some issue regarding 3.2Kg vs 3.185Kg on t.com? Although it compared (lost out a lot:() vs Sains even at two decimal places on sains.co.uk, picked up the higher M price and compared vs W. But not T. Which may not be good news if we wait till when we might want to buy it - when it's way back up in price in A and then on offer at T (and T's offer either better than current A one - or same as current A price and therefore 10% cheaper at such a point, if it were to materialise, and it often does, would be better than current A price - but not if it fails to compare!).

As regards buying at the right time - namely when prices in A are high rather than when most people do, which is when they appear to be cheaper (on the shelf), I did at last have someone not buying £1 yogurts today - instead a nice Activia Intensely at £2.40:D:T and also another Activia at £2.89 which I thought may be very good if it was £1 elsewhere - sadly not - but still cheaper:T - turned out to be an 8 pack at £2 in M (my guide price on those £1.50:laugh:). So, that shop - was cheaper at M:j:). More later, maybe, as and when I wake up:laugh:.

I was just thinking about you earlier VT.....are you feeling a little better?:)

Thanks TM let's just say the situation that was upsetting me is half way to being under control.
Unfortunately my exhaustion can't be controlled and winter makes body play up more. No sign on exchanging contracts on house yet so doubt I will be in for xmas.
would like it confirmed one way or other. I know the house will be mine just not when.
Think Disney trip was a bit much but we did have fun.

Was cat food not glitching today? I thought you would be stocking up.
Glad the girls had a great day at IDH sad we couldn't make it but really not up to it plus didn't want to get caught up in any bomb scares.

My guilty pleasure at the moments I have been watching the early Bake off programmes including the 6 week pilot. Gosh the bakers were bad back then.

Thanks for all the wishes today.

The deed itself was pretty unremarkable. My type of cancer doesn't use intravenous chemo as it causes nerve problems, so it was a quick jab and 2 oral pills.

I did have a meeting in a floral room with comfy sofas and tissues on the table with the bloke who will be my dedicated cancer nurse. He's with me now until he either gets a new job or I check out. I wasn't really in the mood for that as my appointment was late afternoon and the stress had been building all day. I'm sure I have plenty of time to make it up to him :p lots of questions about the kids and do we have family support and stuff. We are well aware we don't. It is nice to know someone else is aware of it, if it becomes an issue.

He's an ex soldier and was far too busy talking to OH about regiments and stuff anyway :o

Then I got home to a letter 'inviting' me for an MRI scan next week. I don't get out enough.....an invite :j The NHS seriously need to overhaul their letter templates in my opinion.

Glad you're ok Squigs. I too never suffer any ill effects from GA. Don't drive too soon :A

Good grief Sarah, you must be worried :( Hopefully it will be nothing but after what you've gone through with your sister, I can't imagine how you feel. Hope his appointment comes through quickly

    a v s
    1x Pom Bear Original (6X19G) £1.58 £1.00

    on offer in a's (this person only bought 1) 2 for £3, buy 2 comps to S £3 v £2

Why would we want to do that?:rotfl:
Ought to be £1 each instore not 2 for £3. And then I'd buy 2 at £2 but have £3 vs £2:laugh:. No point, to me, buying at 2 for £3 if it appears at 2 for £3! And no point, really, buying two here when you can just buy one for 10% cheaper than S price. The A mbuy simply has people buying more than necessary (although this person did not) - whereas, in comp. terms, if you were at Sains., would you buy two? Doing so just - doubles the bill!:rotfl:
In short I wouldn't buy them myself, unless they glitched:rotfl:. And also - small 19g! On that - or rather a similar one - I noticed I have SP Mixed Maize Snacks on Avs M (M being N/A) but I think there are now some - non-comparable unfortunately - at T that are better. The SP ones are even worse - packs are 16g!

Instead, I'm now going to change - and suggesting a change - to this:

Tesco Everyday Value Snack Assortment (12x22g)

    Store_1.15px.png
    59p 22.3p / 100g

    • Store_2.15px.png
      ---
    • Store_3.15px.png
      ---
    • Store_8.15px.png
      ---
Packs are 22g (according to that - or maybe this is another one where T hasn't updated its website yet and has an old higher weight on there:think:) - SP 12x16g are also 59p, so, if the T weight is correct, then 59p in T would be better. It's outside of weight range for APG of course. May be a move onto "buy in T". The SP ones should never have remained on Avs M:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:.

Of course, we wanted other crisp snacks in T instead - 12 packs that are on bogof 85p at about 42p or so each. Or RTC 6 packs at cheaper. Or something mispriced:laugh: that worked out cheaper.
