Hope all those undergoing treatments have had a good day.

Great fun at the IHS, couldn't have asked to meet a lovelier bunch of ladies. Now sitting down with sore feet, a cuppa and one of PDs cupcakes and my goodness, that girl can bake :T:T:T
Thanks so much everyone, it was a fab day. Hope you all got home safely (and the reindeer lol)

Lovely to meet you, hornetgirl. It was a good day, or should we say , and more ? :D

Glad that you got back ok. My journey was awful, it took nearly two hours to get to Earls Court.:eek: Haven't been in long. Hope that TS, Dodo, friend and reindeer had a good journey back. Wonder if the rose hip whiskey and plum and sloe drink made it as well. ;)

Have never had toffee, mango crush, cucumber (yuk) or marshmallow vodka, (have I forgotten any?) chocolate wine, apple and blackcurrant brandy or blueberry whiskey before. :D Some of these were lovely.

Thanks very much for the champagne, TS, it was very kind.

We will leave it to you to put the photos on.

Lovely to meet purpledonkey as well, very generous lady. to everyone that I met today.
    A good awayday for me.

All the best for the treatment. I hope you sail through it without too much hassle.

I am nearly half way through my chemotherapy and am coping ok. You will have your good and bad days so don't worry.

Keep in touch in this forum. It keeps me going and the happiness and comfort I get from this cyber family is brilliant.

    God bless

Good luck with the rest of your treatment.

Fairclaire hope all went well today.

Squigs glad your op went well and your home.

Not necessarily for us to buy, but may be a good help on wombles.

    Vs T
    1x Dylon Colour Catcher (24'S) £3.00 £1.60

    Vs M
    1x Aunt Bessie's Sweet Potato Mash (500G) £1.89 £1.00

If they didn't mix them all in one shop, so I only benefited from the Dylan Colour Catcher. But, I'd rather benefit from just the Dylan Colour Catcher than just the Mash:T.

    Vs S
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cucumber (EACH) £0.49 £0.45

However, portion Cucumber still of course comparing against 21p for M at the moment (and portion may be more than half) on shops done since Tuesday night. I have the portion cucumber showing 24p on the price labels in all my checked Ms. Last week, APG Monday picked up 21p; Wednesday picked up 24p. This week, Monday has picked up 21p (I picked up 24p, but I do not count). Perhaps it's a Monday thang:rotfl:.

(By 'checked' Ms, I mean I have 8 Ms that I could, in theory, check. In fact in theory I have a lot more - but that would involve driving out way too far! And I'm not getting on a train to check two or three at the other end of the country one day then come back:rotfl:. I have 8 Ms (does not include M Locals which we do not bother with) within reasonable travelling distance - two of which are smaller and I've decided are useless for price checks - so, in total, 6 reasonable ones, but only been to 3 different stores between Monday and Wednesday - so, obviously, it's not all my Ms (in other words, all 6), but just the half I've checked;).)
  • Night all, agreed to work extra hours tomorrow morning. Think I might actually have to do some work this time :rotfl:
