Do we have a Morries price on the comp. on the Ex. Spec. Goose Fat? Not that that's any good in M at the moment - I think they missed it off several years ago when it was down to £1 in M:mad:. That was for all of one week:( as they soon went back up to full price again - M obviously did not want people having that price for too long!
NA on goose fat0 -

So, vs Morries, it may now be last chance on...
the Tenderheart Cabbage!:eek::eek:
That's now increased from 50p to 77p:eek: in M! (The Savoy Cabbage is still 50p, according to my store's displayed pricing, but has not been comparing on the APG. Anyway, Savoy Cabbage was 39p in Aldi although it is not currently available at that price.)
I still have 50p price-marked stock (of the - it's actually Sweetheart Cabbage in M but equivalent to Tenderheart - Cabbage). Therefore, if the APG collectors had the same in their stores - and that may well be quite likely - then they should take the lower price when a product has a price marked on it (as in this case) if they find more than one price (so 50p 'old' stock - not that old, and 77p stock). However they don't always seem to follow this rule in practice - and we've seen them picking up higher prices straight away (on the next update) sometimes. Therefore, the Cabbage is probably about to go to 77p for M on the APG.
Therefore... do not buy Tenderheart Cabbage vs M in the near future.
It could still continue until early next week (assuming M keeps on at 77p on Monday coming) - if they follow the rule mentioned above, and assuming they still have 50p specimens in their stores - however I think the chances of it getting 50p on 50:50 to be honest. I wouldn't risk it - obviously you can buy it today, if doing M comp, that shouldn't be any risk as it was 50p on Monday (and we're still on Monday for today and probably for most of tomorrow) but it may go to 77p soon! It looks like it's still Avs T at 50p at the moment.
Otherwise - there's not much change (we weren't expecting much) - I've already mentioned the Bold 1.2L going up in price a little - the main new offer - apart from the Lamb that someone mentioned, thank you:T - as that the standard Pringles:D (190g) have gone to £1 in M. This obviously doesn't work straight away, as needs to await an update first. But what chance will they ever have:think: (my store still displaying £2 and 2 for £3 on its actual stock in the crisps aisle:mad::(:rotfl:)? Hopefully we might seen a £1 for M on the comp. - particularly if I hope A now end their running offer - although, with one of their competitors now matched (for how long?), they might keep the £1 on - surely time to go onto an unseen mbuy for a day or two though?:think::D They'll change in A, onto that, the moment I turn and look away:(:(.
Note there is a "new" flavour of Pringles - some Tortilla Nacho Cheese (I think they may be 185g:() - it may be that, if there was to be the kindness of an mbuy offer - and some way expensive ramped-up single price - that, as alternative, that that could temporarily be an unseen item if indeed it's available in A and if it has yet to reach a.com - I suspect it's on there though?:mad::think: - the Tortilla version is not on £1 in M. Tortilla, as far as I know, is £2.47:eek: and 2 for £3 in M. So, don't be trying that one if it is an appearing item as it will not be £1 in M. The others (190g) are.
As usual, more, a lot more, later. I've one more thing to mention - then we're out to our usual Wednesday meal:mad::mad:, again:rotfl:.0 -

I think the solution is to take your time & allow the machine to register what you have done (unlike me who would probably press buttons in a panic if nothing seemed to be happening)
it only keeps you waiting about 3 secs but that seems a lifetime when the queue behind is getting restless
Go in pairs.............. one for scanning & one for crowd control!! :rotfl:
That is me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: hurry, hurry, hurry. Harking back to ye good olde days of 1p items scanning :rotfl::rotfl: 3 secs does seem like an age when you are waiting to do it all again :eek:

Hi, I have a question... How/when do you know that you've reached £100 APG limit? Is it when you see the comparison results or when you receive e-vouchers in your account? I'm talking about C&C here, as I haven't done any instore comparison shop for a while. I'm sure it's been covered before but with search function not working I couldn't find any post about it. TIA
I have a notenpad with all my accounts, passwords and running totals for both in store and online. Although I only have one one line account0 -

Operation done and I am now back home.
A bit painful, but a couple of painkillers and a glass of red wine should sort that out.:D0
