Savvybuyer wrote: »Do we have any triggers for 3 for £10 chocs this year or any good comps?
There was a Lily O Brien Chritmas Cracker containing Truffles as a trigger earlier in the month, I bought it with the bendicks mints wasn't great but good enough for after Christmas dinner prices. Not checked recently maybe I should get a move on :eek:0 -
If the Kellogg's Snack Bars did go onto the 3 for £3 mix and match, but mbuy on those did not show, then best option would seem to be one pack of Snack Bars (whichever one) and 2x Kellogg's Nutrigrains at £2.19 individual vs £1 each M. Once the price data updates:mad::mad::(.0

The "fresh" Minced Pork 500g situation in M is that the version the APG was comparing to is still £1.75 and the other one (which is the correct one in my view but which it hasn't been comparing to) is £2.00.
I think I'm nearing the end of this particular M list update. Some items that are not getting on but just drawing your attention to offers in M - Volvic 920ml flavoured waters at 50p (but own brand mbuys are cheaper - unless you have something special off on Volvic or some CB offer somewhere); there are some more Walkers Mixups than the lower weight popcorn one that I have on the list (and that's primarily there for mbuy watch) but they are on msm; Seabrook Lattices are on msm; PEK Chopped Pork 300g is £1 but probably on r'back price in A (which, as we know, simply cuts our APG); there's some Homepride sauces and pasta bakes and Ragus all at £1 in M but I suspect they're on msm - just there in case of mbuy watch; and there is some M Whole Lobster (300g) at £4 - however all it takes is for T to put its 400g product on some offer (M would equate to about £5.33) and immediately the M price would be beaten. And the Nivea 25-pack wipes (£1 in M, down from £3:eek:) look like they're on a useless r'back offer in A (so therefore, at this time, they are not making it to the list).
There's one I'm missing this time - the Aunt Bessie Perfect for 2 Rhubarb Crumble may also be on 2 for £1.50 but I've been unable to establish that on Monday as it was not available and there was no SEL evidence of it in either of the two stores I checked; it was the only outstanding item really and not worth a journey to a further store just for that. So, that may be better in 2s, if they ever pick it up - I've have a look for that when I check the other store on Wednesday.
That said, the M Breadcrumbs also turn out to be on mbuy in M, according to msm which gets its info. from morrisons.com, however the SEL in my store specifically stated "Golden Breadcrumbs", did not mention (plain) "Breadcrumbs" at all - shurely a normal person mistake? - they turn out to be outside of the weight range of the A product so I've put both onto "buy in M" anyway and there's no issue about possible missing mbuys as if they are they'll scan with the mbuy, if not you'll notice won't you and buy the others instead - assuming m.com has both on mbuy anyway and that that reflects what the instore situation is (even if they show no evidence of any mbuy on the shelving in my M store on the plain version).
The full details of the changes are on the M list - remember anything good will sneak onto there for a week and then disappear, cos they won't want to keep it on for too long:D.
I think that's nearly it - I'll just stick a couple of tempting Thorntons items onto there:rotfl:. Anchor 500g butters are £2 each in M btw.
The JFs (I'm not talking about the Hairsprays, the 250ml ones of which are now on £3 offer, but the others) are at straight £4 in M but I didn't think it productive of my time to spend a lot of time taking every single one of them down - and, even then, no guarantee that they would be picked up - they're on msm as far as I'm aware anyway so you can go by that:cool:.0 -
fairclaire wrote: »I bought Kellogg's nutrigrains on a muggle shop at the weekend and the 3 for £3 was as it should have been......and compared badly all round
I wasn't talking about that - I was talking about whether the Snack Bars are also on the same mbuy but not specified as being such online. I know the Nutrigrains, by themselves, are 3 for £3 - probably the worst number that could be bought it seems:rotfl:.
You mean the 3 for £3 was anything except what it should have been. It should have been nice high full prices and not blasted mbuy pricing:rotfl:!0 -
Avs S
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Diced Carrots & Swede (500G) £0.50 £0.50
Actual comparison is from a week ago (womble just come to light). However, Sains still has its product at 50p on sains.co.uk.0 -
SP Corned Beef being picked up vs Morries (compares the same vs T and S), but obviously :(they need more time on the SP Spag. Bolognese tin:
1x ASDA Smartprice Corned Beef (340G) £1.50 £1.50
1x ASDA Smartprice Spaghetti Bolognese (395G) £0.24 N/A:(
M 15p. So - buy in M until the beggars pick it up!:p
Northern Ireland - compare vs T at same 24p as can't get any better there.0 -
1x ASDA Fishmonger's Selection Scottish Kippers (200G) £1.28 N/A
were not picked up at all on the current (last Wednesday) collection so they stand no chance of picking up M's 2 for £2 offer. So, yet another one to buy in M until Mr A's agency improves its act. A was 85p some time ago (many months) so M's price is not as good value as the A price, ages back, used to be.0 -
hi ..just thinking meat prices .Ashfield Farm Fresh British Pork Shoulder Joint (1Kg) aldi£2.45 £2.45 / Kg.... can anyone beat this“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

No luck on the toothbrush this time:(. Another one buying loose baking potatoes and paying more for them than would have been for a 2.5Kg bag via the APG (that T offer now gone sadly - but no excuse as this womble is a receipt from a few days' ago when the offer was still on). Those loose potatoes compare against T at same price. Never mind though - their shopping was more than 10% cheaper:wall:. (Probably means they paid too much, as usual, on almost every item they bought.)
