Yes.I was nearly done the other day.

I went to self service.Got the sa to put my 2 apgs through and it said I owed 27p so i paid then the till said I owed £5.46 so I called the sa back and she said I can't do anything about that.I said can't you call a supervisor. She said I am a supervisor.

I said well give me my 27p back. She said what 27p.I said what I have just paid.So I said what about the apgs and receipts. So I made her open the box for my apgs and dig my screwed up receipts out of the bin.I then gathered up my shopping and went to a manned till.

So much for keeping a low profile:rotfl:

I had a faff at Morrisons the other week. Just put my money in and paid, expecting change, and the machine conks out completely refusing saying it can't dispense anything. The SA came to me, but then left me standing there, out on a limb, waiting and waiting whilst they then almost immediately left me and went and attended to other customers. Eventually :mad:they came back and then got a supervisor to come across, who opened a box and gave me the money. She thought it was 8p but I said 28p - the machine had stalled completely before it had its problem dispensing 20p and therefore wouldn't dispense any change. Fortunately it was indicating it had problems with the 20p so I got my change, but not until after waiting for ages.

Oh, I had one in A, at a store miles away from me where I'd just popped in whilst on a day trip back home - I only went and picked the SS machine that had no printer ink didn't I! So, the receipt came out - with the TC no. completely blank:(. I said "can you print that off again?" (needed as it was my own shop that was cheaper elsewhere) - she said "no, I've got no printer ink". Well, can I void it off and go and redo the whole shop at another till so I can get a receipt? No she said, I've got no keys! It was late at night and turned out no member of staff at all had any access to any keys to open the machine and retrieve my APG I'd just paid with. "Well, if you come back tomorrow, to CS, they'll be able to print off a duplicate for you.":(:( As if I was going to travel 50 miles back to pick up a receipt!!:mad: I just left it at that and just wrote that off as a failed shop. Couldn't check the APG or get the APG refund back as there was nothing I could enter from the receipt.

I shall certainly try and be more alert next time I shop, thanks savvy. I was quite tired tonight, had to be prompted by the SA on the adjacent SS tills to tell the till whether I was buying bags while I was wafting my bottle of water over the scanner and wondering where the barcode could possibly be after I'd fully rotated it a couple of times lol.

    Thank you!:)

Sorry I thought it was a Whole Chicken there - glad you put me the important price per kilo:D - SP Whole Chicken is £2.48/kg and at one stage compared better than that vs Sains. Obviously, you don't just get pure breast in that. I note this diced breast is under £5/kg - M's 'fresh' chicken fillets on lots of promoted offers these days but never come anywhere near that - I'm not having any of those everyday low prices:rotfl: as they're still way higher than £5/kg therefore no good:p - this Lidl breast is a lot better (although not as good as the glitched chicken breast comparison we had vs M a while back:rotfl:).

We've all had them - I've had shops where I've not been alert and failed to check properly. After I've done a shop, with time pressure, I've rushed off back home without checking if I've been overcharged. Then having to consider whether to make a pointless journey back for a £2 GC. I usually forget to check online whether petrol prices are coming down the following day before I go off to the supermarket. Then I realise I didn't check and have to risk whether I'm overpaying today.

I'm glad I worked out (but not until after adding 10p too much to the bill:() that all my Mr T machine needed for my Coke shop was for me to input my number of bags and didn't need any SA supervision for that. So I entered my bags number and brought the total right down:D:D.

They really can be such a rip-off can't they? What's that £2.70 straight doing? Maybe waiting for a 2 for £3 offer? That hopefully will appear instore with a window before it appears online.

Imperial Leather Body Wash - Blissful Escape (500ml)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £2.70 54p / 100ml

    • Store_8.15px.png
      [Strike]£2.70[/Strike] £1.00
    • Store_1.15px.png
      £2.70 any 3 for £5.00
Obviously won't compare to £1 at M just yet;).

Oh - M's a rip off too. Has a 250ml version so, half the size, that you can buy for £2:eek: according to msm.

EDIT: Other versions of 500ml Imperial Leather at 85p in A - so, more than 10% cheaper than M (and, on some of those, T is cheaper than M and A not 10% cheaper so Avs T). So, does this mean that the above version is 85p instore but still showing £2.70 online (and therefore possible CC/HD vs M in a few days' time - needs to await APG update of M prices I think)?
  • Happy birthday TM (just :p) x
