If you paid via card, do a chargeback.
I have emailed them but will certainly consider this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Green Mark Russian Wheat Vodka (700ml)

    Store_3.15px.png
    [Strike]£16.00[/Strike] £10.00 £1.43 / 100ml
    Store_2.15px.png
    £13.50

If this worked against Sains., it would been cheaper by volume than (after the next M price update) comparing the other different alcohols at 1L against M at £15. The above may (but probably not in Scotland) also work against M, in 2s, at the moment but this is highly unlikely to last - the product is now straight £14 in M! But, then again, why would you necessarily buy twos if it was working against S at straight £10? NB: I do not know whether or not it works on the APG, and it may - in theory - change from day to day depending on what their computer scan picks up from sains.co.uk.

I say "probably" not in Scotland: it may still work against M at £20 for 2 in Scotland if M was straight £10 offer price in Scotland, but I do not know whether or not it was.

If you have no A available to you:( but do have a Sains that is included within the BM scheme, you may buy this (but not get any 10% off) in Sains at straight £10 - and you may add nine other different items that you were already in need of and going to buy (no use otherwise just wasting money) that are good value own brands or poor value (at Sains price) brands that are cheaper (preferably cheapest) in A to the shop and not affect the cheaper in A comparison, since Sains. exclude spirits from comparison in their BM. More fool them:rotfl: - may allow you to reach a cond.spend for instance and still get a price match to A on the rest of your shopping (cheaper there although A is £13.50 on the Green Mark!). Although it wouldn't be as good as everything way cheaper in A. Although spirits are excluded, they still count as an item don't they? Can people confirm if they have bought any items within any of the categories listed in term 23 of the BM terms, that they still appear on the BM comp. even though they show N/A for A?

I suspect that, clearly, buying things such as fuel or items from the cafe won't count as items since there's no BM in those places but other items would still count as items surely even if they are in excluded categories? Does anyone know if they do? TIA.

If you have an A, I'd buy in A due to the 10% which, on an item like this, is significant (although it's not guaranteed:rotfl:).

You cannot get this at 2 for £20 in M, since that offer is no longer running there.

I'm joining the ranks of those who have been ripped off by ASDA voiding and retaining APGs. It was a member of staff who put it through and they never said there was a problem. However, after paying I checked my receipt and it had been voided off. I went straight to CS but it was 9.55 and she said 'too late, I have no money in the till' before I even opened my mouth. She then insisted there was not a problem and wasn't budging. Grrr!

I'm no help after the event on this I know:o, but, to avoid this in the future, do you know what you expect to be paying after your vouchers have been taken off? If you are doing a £15 shop for example, and have a voucher for £7 and one for £5, you know that you should pay £3. If they ask for any more, then you know at least one voucher has been voided and then do not pay that amount!

I know - it's no use as I'm expecting us to be on the ball constantly and to know exactly what our shopping bill will be (before the vouchers) and therefore approximately what we'll pay after the vouchers have been deducted. Things just don't run like that in practice. However, HTH someone in the future to avoid this situation.

    How are they justifing this?

What do you have from them?

Investment in services (that we won't use/don't need), increased speeds (that we didn't ask for and don't really need) ... the usual tosh to justify above inflation rises again.
