The "Plant of the Week" in M is now the Mini Cyclamen at 70p. However, it was 66p before it went up to £1 and now to its 70p price. So, it would have been better value to avoid the "Plant of the Week" now and to have bought it, at 66p, some weeks ago. It's now, obviously, more prominent with it being decided by them to be "Plant of the Week" but it is a little more expensive than that previous offer.0

Savvybuyer wrote: »It's not because the vouchers are over £10. I've had ones under £10 and it's done exactly the same on me. It is because we've not been doing what henlans has told us - we need only to scan the bottom barcode on the APG (we should now never scan the one on top-right that, in the old days of a single barcode, we were always scanning:doh:) and then the receipt barcode.
Of course, not fully thought-through idea to have two barcodes on a voucher, where the scanner - which flashes lasers in all directions - could pick up either of them if we are not careful. So, if we now fold the voucher over so that only the bottom barcode is pointed towards the scanner...
Maybe we (and the SAs) will get there in the end:rotfl::doh:...
If only it had asked me to scan the other barcode. I would have known what it was on about - every time though I have covered the ean code as best I can be bothered to whilst swatting at the machine. :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

I've no idea why anyone would go for Pepsi cans now, given the Coke Zero for part of the weekend, and goodness you will be paying a lot more, but nonetheless there is no Pepsi Zero:wall:. So, I don't know whether to put them on the list or not - and, obviously, Coca Cola is more valuable than Pepsi:rotfl: - but all three of the 30 can packs of Pepsi (Regular, Diet and Max) are each at £5.87:eek: in M today. None of them are showing on msm and A on each of them is £11:eek::eek:. Maybe put them onto the list as ones of my joke items:rotfl::rotfl:. They will not compare to £5.87 if tried at the moment. I don't know if they will compare at all tbh as I don't know how often M have them in - only saw them today, with them being on "offer".0

Edinburgh's lovely and a few castles elsewhere etc but I think the true beauty of Scotland lies in the landscapes, the beaches, the remoteness, the midnight sun on Orkney (with its 5000 year history...) - so much to see.
Will have to save a few $ 's and get up there:D
