    Scotland has some beautiful places.
We went for the weekend a few years ago and stayed Friday night in Glasgow and Saturday night in Edinburgh... Two very different cities.

The Scots also talk very fast;) including my MiL

Different - but both very valid.

I lived in Glasgow for 2 years and it is great - I was mostly spending my time in the West End but main city was fine. I guess some of you might say different story if they glassed you, drunk Englander (which I often was, I was young). But all I met was friendship & fun, nice people, invites to parties, intelligent conversation & happy to party together.

So Glasgow is seen by some as poorer sister to Edinburgh but actually they are quite similar in lively atmosphere and good times.

Lovely little village with a candle lit procession to celebrate new year.

Shame the landlord forgot we were staying and turned the heating off at 10pm when it was freezing outside.

    Nope....he just has the knack....

Over the years he has bought me thigh boots, patent leather stilettos, sexy little ankle boots, a modalu handbag to die for, beautiful jewellery and a watch so beautiful that I don't take it off at night:D

    Guess he loves me:)
