I also tried the mccains chunky chips 1kg which were £2.64 ish in T should have compared...maybe;) to 96p in M

You should be ok.. you were just unlucky that these are showing in the 2 for £5 at the time of the update.. would be interesting to know if the other fish ones didnt work or worked and then I could work out the update time.
