I am pondering about anti histomenes

On Friday we had a little mossi flying around and it must have bitten me, got 2 massive itchy swollen lumps on my hand, thumb side and at the bottom of the index finger.

seeing as we are going to a warm climate and into the hills in December I am wondering if I should get some of the supermarket bog standard anti hists

3 days now these little bites have given me huge jipp - OH gave me some cream to put on but its not helped - a low pain threshold and I do get bitten by anything flying
I would , you dont want them infected so keep an eye on them

  • Well, I don't do coke, but I did get a £29.47 shop in Tesco down to £3.47 using vouchers and the gift card they sent me. I just hope the 4 packs of roasties are worth spending -£1 each on

Vouchers from some Tesco cashpoints, get as many as you like by getting printed balances, voucher scans at £2, McCain Roasties are currently £1, paid to take away :D

    Thanks Enterprise x

I think if you went at a busy time you could park 2 cars at the back, next to each other on either side of the pumps & fill both tanks to get the 100 litres, the staff would be very unlikely to spot you

I used to do this with DS3 at Tesco....:eek::eek::eek:

Sorry to hear you have had such a bad time with your jabs AJ, my arm was a little sore but nothing like you have suffered. Hope you soon feel better honey.
Love and hugs to all the elite that are having a trying time at the moment for different reasons both healthwise and just life being a bit of a b**** and hoping that things improve for you very soon x

Hi maz, thank you for your kind thought :). I've been a sufferer of multi joint osteoarthritis for over 20 years and can say that this year has been one of my worst health wise :(. I suffer in the cold wet weather with my joints, hands and fingers are the worse anytime if I do too much so am restricted such a lot. DH does most of the cooking bless him, but he is a great chef :)

My cough seems to be on the retreat and there again it was DH that came to my rescue. I'll let you all know in a couple of days if He has found the solution as it could help others with asthma.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Supermarket ones will be fine as they have the same ingredients. I got mine from Amazon for pennies and they were great. I always used to get bitten to shreds and spoilt my holidays as trying not to itch and scratch.

Some did tell me to get a piece of lemon or tomato to dab on bites if you have nothing else Hth

  • mhoc.... or you could just drink lots of tonic water as this stops the mossy bites!

I recommend gin in the same glass!

Went to M today to combine some points offers. I got

    6 Cidre
    6 Barilla
    2 phone topups
Shopping to take it over £40.

The SA got all flustered inputting the cidre mocs, and they put 7 through (+ overage).
Used points mocs and £5 M mocs, totalled about £16.

    Should get 11500 points :)
