    Evening folks :D

We had a fab day in London but I'm knackered now! We decided we couldn't be bothered with shopping so we did the tourist thing instead and ended up walking 10 miles

We went from Hyde park to Buckingham palace, caught the back end of changing if the guard, up through Westminster, Trafalgar Square, millennium bridge, tower bridge and loads in between, then got the tube back to Hyde park and went to winter wonderland which was good but bloody expensive

Ah so glad you had a good time......shame you didnt make it as far as Olympic stadium where I spent the afternoon/evening freezing to death:rotfl::rotfl:

My son treated me to a surprise day out watching the Race of Champions !!! OMG it was amazing Vettel right there in front of us!!! Great entertainment but wish I had taken a blanket or 3 !

    Morning Nutters :D:D:D

edit to add: and cracker crisps were 2 for £2 (net cost 1p vs sains)

    Morning all

I am pondering about anti histomenes

On Friday we had a little mossi flying around and it must have bitten me, got 2 massive itchy swollen lumps on my hand, thumb side and at the bottom of the index finger.

seeing as we are going to a warm climate and into the hills in December I am wondering if I should get some of the supermarket bog standard anti hists

3 days now these little bites have given me huge jipp - OH gave me some cream to put on but its not helped - a low pain threshold and I do get bitten by anything flying

    Evening :)

well I said RL was hectic,

how the heck can I help to organise a christening in a week 200 miles away:eek:

Its not quite a bad as it sounds, all I have to do is decorate the room (providing it can now be hired!) its a top room in a pub overlooking the Thames so they will provide the buffet. The christening is at midday on Saturday, we wont arrive til late Friday night and will probably have 1/2 hour to make it christeningy help!!!!

I was thinking of blue painted jars with blue+white flowers with date and babies name written on jars for the tables--but I haven't time to paint and decorate jars, and I haven't got any so im not going out buying for lots of money- any one got any brilliant ideas please??:D
Good luck i am sure you will manage;)

They Did :D and they still do. I got one today that doesn't show on APG at all. There are different BC but unlike last time they aren't labelled rump/sirloin/silverside. I have no clue what I've bought :o not being a cook I just looked for the best lumps of meat I could find ;)

ETA I've just looked at mine again and there is a description of the cut in small print above the BC. I bought a rump and a silverside. The silverside is the one that didn't show on the APG

Hello:D hope you are feeling a bit better than you was, yes its very small print, you can dice it up for casseroles/curries or pies as well. rump can cut slices off for steak;)

Slept quite well last night, with a little help from my meds and the fact that Friday night was a rough night.

Friday I went for my Flu and Pmuemonia vaccine. I was ok until overnight woke up feeling sick, very hot and my arm exremely sore. Didn't fancy a drink of anything nor could face eating anything all day yesterday.

DH kept asking me if I'd like a drink of this or that, answer was no. He tried tempting me with various foods, answer was no. Until 8.30pm did I want a bacon sandwich and cup of tea. I fancied tea so got that down. He then made me a bacon butty but I only managed half. Haven't had anything since as just don't feel I can eat. I've had a cup of tea and some water with my meds this morning but still feel churned up inside, hot and arm is still red, swollen and very sore.

Anyway, that's me but hugs and love to those much, much worse off than me. I know your out there x. Take care my Elite friends, your in my thoughts x
Think I'll try and have a catch up before I fall asleep again. I think the effects are normal side effects from pnuemonia jab btw x
Glad you feel slightly better , stay warm and cosy x
