Think you overpaid on your Mushrooms:rotfl::rotfl:, although, to be fair, they aren't Flat Mushrooms elsewhere but M have 600g at £1.50 whereas 2x 300g for T would have been £2:eek:(:rotfl:). And A S/P version would have been cheaper by weight than M.
I can't consider that a "failed shop" though - it did the required thing and got the Coke Zero. Wish it was zero. Flippin' 24p:rotfl::rotfl:. (I don't seriously mean that - hence my laughter!)0 -
I think it was best to go quite early on on this glitch, and then they wouldn't have been aware of the product issue and just let you pass by, unnoticed. Same with the next... and the next...0

S/P mushrooms looked ropey, so I bit the bullet and bought the more expensive ones:eek::):)N1LDA:D0 -

Your detailed results
Qty Item Description Total Weight Tesco Asda Sainsbury's Morrisons*
1x SEASONAL NEW LOOSE POTATOES
0.030kg £0.06 n/a n/a n/a
1x BANANAS LOOSE
0.176kg £0.12 n/a n/a n/a
1x CARROTS LOOSE CLASS 1
0.033kg £0.02 n/a n/a n/a
Actually, M are probably flippin' more expensive on their loose new potatoes, although I didn't think about that before or at the time of my shop and didn't plan it like that.
They are also I think, now, looking at it, more expensive on their loose carrots as well as T is one of the cheapest shelf-price places to buy (assuming the shelf price is correct:rotfl: - you know what I mean though - Avs T therefore could be cheaper, but we're talking buying in the cheapest 'shelf-price' store (even though it's not cheapest when bought and compared from elsewhere with right items and right number of items etc. in a shop)) - T 60p/kg M 75p/kg. So, I could have lost oh so minor under the old system (and thus the bill been a few pence more than it was for me). Banana would have been same price at T and M (assuming it had been the old TPP and that the system, on any given recent collection relevant to a shop, had picked up M's product the way it should, back then, have done so).0 -

That's fine. To be honest, bananas in my nearest A have been a little bad of late - and lots of them left and not selling (probably because of that). Don't know what's happened to them - don't seem to be very good quality and been a bit of a pain as it's one item necessary to getting the number on my shop (and, also, I'd like to have an edible banana as well if possible and not one that is too soft and squishy and turns out to be bad inside by the time I open up - usually a small number of days after I've bought it. Otherwise, it feels like a wasted 11p or whatever - buy a ropey one ten times and it's >£1. Not the same one obviously, but ten different ones, over time, on different shops).0 -

Exactly. Though I am sure their stock reordering system has flagged they are having a run on Zero and need to reorder. I am also sure their social media/web monitoring watch HUKD and on here too to spot customer concerns and also pick up issues like this - but perhaps are not able to respond quickly enough. We probably have workers from A, T and other stores among Elite and on HUKD too (whether they report back or take advantage too, who knows?).
I appreciate that we are not always able to get out when glitches are reported but the sooner you can shop, the better. In most cases we don't know if it will work later/tomorrow/in three days time, we only know if it worked the last time one of us bought in T (or two/three hours later than the shop in A). In theory A glitches continue to work until at least the update the following morning, Ts probably similar (or longer if matching M due to not being a daily update). It is possible in theory they could correct anytime but that is not the general pattern (may be easier to remove from shelves than override the system?).

Morning folks, hope everyone is wrapped up warm this morning!redrose1414 wrote: »Morning from flipping freezing Kent, I've got to go out but my coat is in the washing machine as one of the children spilt chocolate ice cream on it. I'm going to freeze ⛄️.
Are the multis from the last few days still missing for everyone as I have to go past A.
I have 2 tickets to the IHS at Olympia on Thursday but unfortunately I can't go then 🙁. What a waste of tickets😀.
yogurts(£1.40 online, £1 instore) and Finish tablets(oos instore, £12 online). will report the results later.:)0 -
I can see this glitching all weekend and into Monday as long as the product is physically available for people to buy. But that's not an excuse to stay in bed/not go now, in case it doesn't continue.
EDIT: Obviously I was wrongly on the first part.0 -

just rang virginmedia and theyve given me the new customer deal which they have never offered ever before and also there relocating my router as dont have desktop any more
theyve given me big kahuna sports package £40 a month saving for 9 months then he said ring again in 9 months and we will see what we can do
i was in contract until may next yr so was unsure if they could do anything
Thank you for reporting. Still haven't had my personal notification of the price rise. The past two times I have phoned and they gave credited the rise for one year back to my account (as on Mates Ratea they cannot amend the package/price without losing my other discounts). The problem is that due to so many rises, the rise is still locked in when the next rise comes in (so the base line price still is higher each year, the rise is just deferred). I may actually have to leave this time or move some if the services away (broadband is my sticking point as it is a good speed)

The problem for them (or one problem or a problem) may also be that's it's Saturday, and then Sunday, and the staff who deal with this type of issue are in work Mon-Fri 9-5:D.
I don't know how they'd override or correct the system tbh, or whether it is able to be corrected without a complete new dataset. Again, the staff that probably would correct, if they could, are likely to be weekday daytime staff.
It's possible the issue will just be left like it is, for the individual stores to deal with, as usual completely in the dark as to how they should and with no guidance at all. These being the way that things may tend to work, speaking in general terms. Same as the staff at A with no clue as to how the new APG accepting of vouchers system is supposed to work and left to scan those vouchers, completely in vain, when none of them at all scan (in the stores to which it has been rolled out, again with completely no forewarning or apparently any information to staff, least of all the SAs on the very face on the ground).
So I think we may just see stock of the entire product either being removed from public sale in various T stores (any clueless muggle who actually wanted it would now be having to buy it from a competitor - of course, much more expensively!) or otherwise it's just one of those things and occasionally stores take a hit through occasional things, which most customers are not buying because most people are unaware (including most or some of their staff:rotfl: - knowledge may start to filter down among them though) and they'll just continue until Monday or when the system and then problem solved. Or else us minority customers will have sold the product OOS in all the stores in which it was still publicly available for sale.
So I reckon, unless they have some emergency person in to correct it, which is probably unlikely - may not be a huge issue depending on whether it grows or not (maybe I am being naive) - this will continue on the system through till Monday, although I cannot guarantee. The more difficult thing, from our POV (I don't see any customer concerns btw:rotfl:, the concerns are about failed shops and no concern at all from customers as to the excellence of the price offered), is that if you don't, or can't (and I understand people that can't - I couldn't get the Heinz soups:() go out until much later - that it may become sold out, whether by other customers using (or becoming aware of and then using) the glitch or by stores putting the whole stock, or attempting to, into the warehousing.0
