tesco staff followed me out to ask if i got coke because of bg fault :P
of course i did and i was going in for more but she said security may not let you
but i went through normal till this time and the staff was suprised :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What, they're aware of it but hadn't managed to pull it all off the shelves? Sounds like their 'fault' rather than yours. They can ask whatever they want - are you obliged to give them an answer?
If you didn't get it because of the BG fault, you'd still have paid the same amount anyway*. Relevance of the question is...?
*The machine cannot offer you anything else because that's the system and their own inaccurate data - you could put in a fifty pound note (as if to insist to pay the full T shelf pricing) and it would give you change based on the final £1/£2 something price it has given you. It cannot, and is not, going to accept any other price. So what do you do? How can you (or indeed they) work out what amount you 'owe' to T, being unaware of the true competitors' prices that should have been applied to your shop and unaware of whether your bill should have been discounted or had no discount at all?0 -
Morning from flipping freezing Kent, I've got to go out but my coat is in the washing machine as one of the children spilt chocolate ice cream on it. I'm going to freeze ⛄️.
Are the multis from the last few days still missing for everyone as I have to go past A.
I have 2 tickets to the IHS at Olympia on Thursday but unfortunately I can't go then 🙁. What a waste of tickets😀.RISEABOVEHATE

they had reprinted my receipt and the followed me when i was putting trolley back :P
you just need broad shoulders to do these glitches and ive learnt well from you folks0 -
COKE ZERO or another variety ?
Definitely the right Coke Zero. I've counted and got 13 individual barcode items. No mention of BG on receipt. Just tried inputting into the BG site and it said an error has occurred - try again later. Hopefully just went wrong for me and will continue to work for others but just wanted to warn.
It was definitely a T Extra, Superstore or Metro?
I think message to warn to others is to change your mind, not to pay, cancel your stuff off and leave it with the store if it does not offer you the approx. £2 pricing (assuming your fillers are the 10p variety type).0 -

I managed to change my plans around today and got to Ts :j
A *cough* few cases of coke worked just fine :money:
Also, seabrook lattices are 50p with 50p cb on cos (3 times per account) :cool:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

They can reprint all they like. It's their machine and their ink:p.
Harassment is not allowed if they do that on more than one occasion and it amounts to a 'course of conduct' (within a reasonable timeframe within each other - i.e. not one isolated thing and then six and a half years later, one unrelated thing...) and if it doesn't have one of the defences such as reasonableness.0 -
Loose fruit an veg dont count as your ten items in tosco anymore, shame as I would rather have them than the sweeties. If unsure I find it easiest to copy item for item a winning shop, food bank will always take a carrier bag of sweeties
EDIT - they do so!0 -
