hi i've run the pc spec test on my pc but its coming up as 800mhz and therefore failing me when my laptop is 1.6Ghz, can anyone help with this? why is it showing up incorrectly?

    Hi Kay,

with some of the newer computers, as an energy saving type thing on your computer, even if it is 1ghz or higher, it will not run that high if it doesn't need to. sometimes you will see the speed posted at 800mhz, because that's all the speed your computer needs at that moment to run effectively.

i'm not really sure how you could fix that, but i know that's why it's reading that way. maybe if nothing else try to explain to teletech what that situation is with the way new computers are. good luck.

TeleTech have a really good technical support division.Get back in contect with them and see if they can direct you to someone who can help.
May be worth checking yourPC manual to see if there is a way to turn off this "feature" or calling the support line for the PC company first though.

I've been sent the email asking me to run the checks on my computer, and have followed the steps to download and run the hardware analyzer, but everytime i get to the part where i have to "post information" i enter my id and name, then get directed back to the screen to download the hardware analyzer again. I am on my third attempt and it is doing the same thing everytime. I have looked throught he workbooth FAQs but cannot find an answer. Am I doing something wrong?!

Turn off pop up blocker and then go tools - internet options - delete browsing history and cookies. And lower your security settings.

    Hope that solves it! xx
