I've noticed that the vacancies have now been removed from the website! There are only jobs for Belfast.

Hi, I just checked hirepoint again and it seems to be still showing
the vacancy, catch it while you can MSE's :)

Wouldn't hold your breath, I emailed yesterday to politely chase them up and got a reply earlier this evening to say that due to "an unprecedented level of applications" they don't have any unfulfilled vacancy's at the moment but are keeping my details on file for future reference.

then again maybe it's just a brush off
  • Hi,
I just joined this site. I've been reading about what everyone is doing and what stage they're in. Well, I applied on September 21 st, took the on-line assessment on October 3rd (successfully completed), received my Workbooth cd (passed) - got a call today with no warning (1st interview), set up 2nd interview for this Wednesday afternoon. I never received any e-mails in between - Boy is that fast!!! To everyone, good luck with whatever stage your in - and please wish me luck!!!!

Hi, this may sound like a stupid question but does TeleTech handle all your TAX and NI before you get paid, just like any normal job and if so how does this affect what you already pay if you have a current job?

Yes it's PAYE so all done for you, if you already have a job thats used
up your tax allowance for the year, then you will basically be taxed at
22% on every paycheck as long as you earning are below £34.600 a year

I have been looking at the details and wonder if anyone knows. If I manage to get a job with teletech will no one else in my house be able to use the internet?

Internet usage is ok as long as the other person isn't hamering your bandwidth or causing any sort of issue with the connection but the telephone will be tied up during the shift.
Do you know what package speeds you are on (download and upload) for your ISP?
