Did he test the gas pressure & that live & neutral are correct ?

Just took the front case off and you could smell the gas coming through. The last time he was out he did carry out volts checks to various places, not sure where though if I'm honest. Low and behold when I put the case back on and performed the reset it came good again.........very frustrating.

That last lockout sequence you mentioned is classic Pottertom Suprima PCB problems. I know - I've had 2.

You did say you had the PCB replaced. But I wonder if it was with a new one, a refurb or perhaps one from someone selling one secondhand which also had this classic problem.

The internet is choc full of people who had these issues which Potterton did acknowledge as a design fault but only offered replacement PCBs for a short while.

I got my refurb PCBs from an ebay seller who does them by the bucketload and it's been perfect since replacing over a year ago.

My link to the installation/operating manual does not work (sorry) so Google Potterton Suprima 60HE, open the .pdf for installation and service instructions and got o page 35/36.

It's also possible that the ignition probe is faulty/misaligned or worn out or that the ignition cable is cracked, so preventing ignition and therefore lock-out.
