Hi guys, this thread is a fantastic help, have used it when booking before to find out and managed to save over £60 for a 2 night stay at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow.

However, I was wondering if anyone knows what the below hotel would be? Am looking to book something for my other halfs birthday, and this is coming up as a pretty decent price.

Hi, i have just joined fourm.
This thread absolutely fantastic as i stay in london every week and often book last minute top secret hotels, sorry i cannot add any new ones that havent already been revealed, if i do get any i will add them straight away.
Does anyone know this one ? it is newish description i think , i havent seen it before....i hope/think it maybe hilton tower bridge ?
Modern funky hotel next to Tower Bridge

thats all it says. no trip advisor reviews and tried the nearest distance from tower bridge trick but seems lastminute not seeling full price rooms so couldnt find it that way ...
anyone out there know ?

Sorry if this has been raised before (I've searched but can't find anything).

Has anyone made a booking via Lastminute.com for a Secret Hotel (or any hotel potentially) whilst on a business trip and require a VAT invoice?

When I made a booking, the confirmation email stated that a VAT invoice couldn't be sent. I stayed at the hotel and the front desk said the same. I contacted Guest Relations and they were able to send me a VAT receipt - great. However, I stayed at the same hotel this week and contacted Guest Relations and they say they can't provide a VAT receipt and I have to get one from Lastminute.com. I've been told when the original person who sent me the VAT receipt is back on duty tomorrow, so I'll try again.

The reason for this post is, who is responsible for providing a VAT receipt? I have already received one from the hotel this time so I know it can be done, but don't want to have to fight to get one every time I book with Lastminute.com. I stay through my company, but there are strict limits to hotel costs - and the alternative to a lovely hotel with gym and pool is a Travelodge.

Hi Topman, thanks for clarification. I'll post the link in future. I ended up phoning crowne plaza instead and found that for 2 nights for £109, so actually quite reasonable for a 4* hotel. Stayed there a few times before and it was great.
