Great location - very near the Tube and walking distance to the museums. The hotel itself could do with an update but it's still a nice place if you can get it for a reasonable price.

If it has stained windows (as the link suggests) then it may be the Millennium Baileys, which is 50m from Gloucester Road tube and is very good. The Vanderbilt is also good and Gloucester Road is a good place to stay, lots of bars and restaurants, close to museums, feels safe and only 15mins from central attractions.

I've seen that 'A waterside hotel near Canary Wharf, O2 & ExCeL' has been previously said to be the Novotel London Excel, but that post was from 2010 - has anyone booked this more recently and confirm this is still correct?
