Having read your first thread I find this very hard to believe. Even if the bank didn't make a mistake it doesn't mean someone else didn't. Unless you gave your bank details to getmintedbingo at some point - which you should know about - how could they have paid you this money? Either you signed up with them, played Bingo, gave them your bank details and won, or the money is not yours.

A quick Google turns up http://www.getmintedbingo.com/ - I'd get in touch with them and check.

Oh, and if it turns out to be yours, why not start by paying off all that debt you said you had in the first thread rather than wasting it on cigarettes?

I play online bingo all the time and can't see how you can receive £40,000 in your bank account without knowing you have won.

When you play bingo you have to give them your bank details to open an account, then when you win, this money then goes into your bingo account for you to withdraw.

If you have not done this then the money cannot be yours. It looks to me like someone has withdrawn this money from the bingo and inserted their bank details wrong.

I would advise you to either contact your bank again, or log onto the bingo site and contact them to trace who this money belongs to.

Like others have said, this money is unlikely to be yours. Do not spend a penny of it (but then you've spent £500 on cigarettes already, haven't you?).
