Barclaycard Email - changes to interest rates - or phishing?

Just got an email from Barclaycard which has been rejected by my virus checker as a "phishing attempt".
Looking at it via another route (but not clicking on links) it's about how they're going to link CC interest rates to the BOE base rate, starting in February 2016. The email seems in order, but has anyone else had this?

Couldn't say whether the email is legit or not, but see here:

I had one too, it's legit.
Mine is titled: Important - we're making some changes to your account
It states the last 4 card digits on the top right and also refers to me by title and surname.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I got the email too, but at the bottom it also informed me that they were lowering my interest rate :j I don't know if it's related to the fact that I emailed them about 2 months ago asking if they could look again at my interest rate, when they emailed back saying they couldn't do anything "at this time".I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!0

I had the same message by post not email, saying that the interest rate would be linked to the BoE rate, and lowering my current interest rate by about 1%.0

Same here.
Looks like the BoE base rate might actually be starting to shift then.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I had the same email, gave details of my new interest rate- lower than before and I did not ask for a reduction. I pay this card in full each month so the interest rate is not a concern.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

I had the same email and on one of the cards the cash withdrawal rate has dropped by 5 percent. However never drawn cash on a credit card yet.0
