I bought a flatpack of 2 holographic boxes from The Original Factory Shop for just 10p, measurements 15.2cm sq. They have the boxes for bottles too, same price.
Also I got a multi coloured 15 pack of tissue paper from Poundland.0 -
I don't bother with gift tags.
I either write the person's name directly on the wrapped present with a black permanent marker pen, or I use the white address label stickers and write on those and affix them to the presents. Much cheaper than buying gift tags or labels or different paper for each person :money:
Also far less chance of the gift tag parting company from the gift!Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

I make gift tags from left over pieces of wrapping paper.
I fold them in half use a hole punch in one corner, thread a piece of ribbon or string through and tie or tape on present.0 -
Folding over the rough cut edges of the paper before you tape them down makes a huge difference but is really quick and simple. And if all else fails, tie as much gift ribbon in different colours around the whole thing and run your scissors along the ends to make them curl into a great big pile on the top - it hides a multitude of wrapping sins! :-)0

I use my ironing board ( as it higher than my kitchen table) to wrap small presents and a sellotape dispenser which I bought from the poundshop years ago. I buy my wrapping paper in the January sales and make the gift cards from last years Christmas cards. Cubes cuboids are easy to wrap but things like footballs -find a box and add loads of shredded wrapping paper ( last years recycled) to hide it so it doesn't rattle when they shake it to see what it is. One of my sons has requested a wheellbarrow for Christmas so I will wrap the rest of his family's presents in nice Christmas paper and fill the wheelbarrow with them. :T0

If you don't have a heavy dispenser to hold and cut the sticky tape, use a husband
Or a child, but the latter tend to get more distracted.

You can get bike bags from Wilkinsons or wrap it in a christmas table cloth?
Last year my son got a moto cross bike. It was hidden in the garage with a huge bow on it.0
