Just standard airmail. Paypal have supplied a tracking number but it doesn't work on RM site.
I've sold absolutely loads to Italy over the years, and have never had a problem until now.
Standard airmail doesn't have any tracking so it looks like paypal have merely confirmed postage was purchased.

I know it doesn't. The number they've provided does look like a RM tracking number though, it just doesn't work on the track and trace website.

Well the case has closed.
Although it says on the case they can't find in my favour, I haven't refunded, and they've released the hold on the money.
I think the buyer has closed the case, presumably as it's turned up.
However, he has left positive feedback which says it didn't turn up due to the Italian postal service.

He might just be a realistic Italian buyer who knows how awful their postal system is and has decided to take the hit himself.
Judging by his feedback left for others and messages he sent I don't think so. I think it's turned up.
