    Morning all

    Sorry a few people are feeling down. Hope today is a better day.

    Today I have/will:-
    * Check banks
    * Take photo of washing machine seriel number etc and attempt to register again
    * Throw away one rusty hair grip and 2 takeaway lids which didn't have boxes (small things and all that!)
    * Use free sample of anti wrinkle cream rather than moisturiser
    * Use free sample of foundation
    * Take lunch to work
    * Text friend to see if she wants me to come up tonight/tomorrow (she had a baby last Monday and her MIL died this Tuesday so her OH is 6 hours away with his family at the moment)
    * If not staying at friends - book onto circuits for tonight
    * Update work expenses
    * Charge phone in work
    * Order xmas present
    * Read Martin's email from yesterday
    * Dinner from stores
    * Start thinking about rearranging/running down freezer so that I can defrost big freezer

    Think that's everything for today.

    Maria - Oh dear, that doesn't sound like you. We all have those kind of dips in mood, no need to beat yourself up. I had one earlier this week. Was raring to go first thing then felt my mood slide downwards as the day progressed for no reason whatever. I blame hormones. That's what they're there for, blaming! I'm sure you will enjoy your time away when you get there.

    LegoMum - I've been checking O2 priorities too as we are both new customers. I was looking for useful things while Mr f was leaping up & down with excitement at the thought of a light-sabre keyring! Enough said!!

    LOL my dh was the same!! Although he's also after an apple mac and seen he could maybe get £50 off if he goes to currys using the o2, so he's more excited about that today!
  • Hi guys :wave:

    Things for me today:

    * went and had a free eye test :) but had to get glasses as my eyesight has changed :( hoping this will stop my migraines
    * got some bits for packed lunch for journey tomorrow while at Tesco
    * wrapped up ebay sale & some other bits to post
    * hunted around the house to find all the library books to return today (have to be in or we'll get fines!)
    * potted up 4 spider plant babies :)
    * spent 40 mins digging over my soon to be new veg patch. Am really hoping I can get this done today and it be finally finished. Oh dug up the massive roots at the weekend just digging over now, get the last of the roots out and that's it done :j
    * load of washing and on the line. Nice day here :)
    * made dgd's packed lunch

    Still to do:

    * make food for tomorrow - dgd & I are driving to visit friend in Holland
    * pack bags, make sure I've got all documents & load up car. Pack activities for dgd on journey
    * Do at least another hour digging
    * post letters & parcel
    * return library books
    * walk to po/library
    * another load of washing & hang up (it's coming out of my ears at the moment!)

    Ok think that's everything I need to do. Take care x

  • So, the day has progressed. A manic manic day and not a surprise, feeling much better, even after losing some business that should have made me even lower. Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments.

    Am now off to pack for my weekend with family, then a work conference, then a weekend with friends. I have written a list of things to pack in separate bags. It would be fun to rock up to business conference with wellies and clothes for deep cleaning my sisters kitchen!

    Last day in work tomorrow and hopefully I will return from all this feeling seasonally advent and more positive.

    I love reading your posts and even when I do not comment you all keep me going. Big thank you.

    Maria.

    Quick update from me to keep on track.
    DH & I had a short "discussion" in the car last night meaning I came home in a foul mood & was posting nothing
    Then didn't want to ge up this morning

    But sounds like it's not just me - take care everyone & be good to yourselves

    Anyhow - DH seems to have got the hint I was knackered. He was off today & I came home to washing done, house tidied & hall & bedroom cleaned, tea made for me - think he's dne enough for me t be nice to him again?

    So easy night tonight for me - still tired & Storm Abigaill on her way in. Will go out & hang out clothes for tomorrow just in case pwer goes off. TBH we shouldn't really be affected but ......

    Have a good night all & normal service will be resumed tomorrow (assuming we have electricity)

  • Hey everyone :D
    Sorry to see that there are so many people feeling so down at the moment. It's a tough time of year anyway without loads of other stuff going on as well.
    I'm absolutely exhausted and desperate to get into bed - I just feel like I could sleep for a week.

    :cool: mark a set of books - urgent! Didn't get this done, but it was beyond my control. Department policy is changing so I won't be able to mark before next week
    [STRIKE]:cool: plan next week's lessons[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: try not to get stressed[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: don't make any big decisions[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: try and chase up my missing work expenses if I get time[/STRIKE] chased up, but not ready yet.
    [STRIKE]:cool: check banking, no PAD[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: load of washing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: minimise heating use[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: aim for nsd[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:cool: all meals from stores[/STRIKE]

    I have also
    :p wombled £2.50
    :p joined the latest Orchard programme
    :p sat down for the evening by 7pm
    So I'm reasonably happy with that
