New take on the 4% cashback for the 1st 3 months card. Now called Cashback with world mastercard-basically same as previous 4% cashback card, but with the added benefit of free travel insurance for the cardholder and family, provided 75% of the balance of the hol is paid for on the card.
The only downside i can see to this card is that there is less time to pay back your purchases. On the old version you had up to 56 days interest free, depending on when the purchase was done and when the payment was due, but now its....
9. Monthly statement. We will produce a monthly statement which will also state the payment due date (a date usually 15 days after the statement date) for so long as there is an outstanding balance on the account and provided the outstanding balance has not become immediately payable following service of a default notice.
So at an estimate i think that means up to 45 days interest free, definately worth setting up a direct debit.
Also noticed this, which i have not seen before, could be a benefit, but you would then get charged interest......
10. Prepayment. You can pay more than the minimum payment shown on your statement. If you do this, we may in our discretion allow you to make a reduced or no minimum payment for up to three of the following consecutive months. Interest will continue to accrue to your account during this period. We will tell you in advance if we are willing to allow you to do this on a particular occasion.

Ive just applied for this card, it also has "purchase protection" for goods over £50- another bonus.
the trouble with the travel insurance is that if you pay for your hol with a credit card, they charge 1.1/2 % extra for it, which would work out dearer than the free hol insurance. Some people think this is also not full holiday insurance as it only covers accidents. can anyone elaborate on this?0
