Ridiculous issues and customer service with Vodafone

I have had terrible issues with my bill since I renewed my contract 4 months ago. Each month I have had to call to get my bill adjusted as I am supposed to get the Sky Sports TV pack 1 free as part of my contract but I have been charged £4.99 per month every month for it even though I have spent at the very least half an hour on the phone to the customer services team each month to sort it out I keep being charged for it on my bill. After 2 months I started being charged £5.00 per month for the Sky Sports TV pack 2 after I followed step by step instructions from the customer service team on how to not be charged for pack 1. I have never used pack 2 and I have maybe used pack 1 3-4 times since I took out the contract but each month I am now being charged £9.99 through no fault of my own.
I have spent over 3 hours on the phone to Vodafone over the past 3-4 months trying to sort this out and each time I am told it has been but then my next bill comes out and again it is showing the additional £9.99 and I have to phone again. I really don't want this to happen any more.
I renewed my contract with Vodafone 4 months ago because you were matching a deal that I was looking to get from O2 and the clinching thing for me not to move to O2 was that I would get the Sky Sports Mobile TV pack 1 free for the duration of my contract with Vodafone which has not been the case for the last 4 months.
Has anyone else had this issue? It is driving me insane having to call each month. In fact, the last time I called I was told that it was my fault as I had not downloaded and signed up to the app properly, despite being talked through it over the phone 4 times. It's been a ridiculous show of customer service and do I have any recourse to cancel my contract with them over this?

Sorry to hear you are having such a rubbish time with Vodafone. It seems you are not alone in the slightest though- I've been having on-going issues with Voda for the past few months and feel at my wits end. I don't have anything to suggest I'm afraid as I'm waiting for suggestions myself as it so far feels like I'm yelling at a brick wall when I try and deal directly with Vodafone.
I've been a customer for about 9 years and for about 7.5 of those years I thought they were an exceptional company and gave great service etc. As it stands now, I simply cannot wait for my contract to end so I can get away. I've even considered stumping up the early termination fee onto a credit card and going for a sim-only deal somewhere that values their customers.0 -
