Wednesday 11th Nov - what small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym .
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :money:

Hello,
Post and run...came home from work at 5:30am to find OH had accidentally put the chain across the front door and was sound asleep. Woke up the whole glen trying to wake her to let me in.
Debt-Free Nillionaire Month 6:
* Counted up how many vouchers etc we have. About £30 in bits and bobs.
* Planned this week's spending in detail. Don't know what to do for entertainment this weekend.
* Work, very hard.
* Ordered prescription online for speed.
Have a good day everyone.

Ziggy - hope your DS is ok at school
Busy day CS! Hope the car starts playing ball!!
DNMS - I love this quiet time of the morning too :coffee:
Oh dear Ally - your poor OH trying to be all security concious
- Well, I did my voluntary work yesterday. :T Took hours trying to get my head round it (volunteer for an Ombudsman) but finally sent off an email. I was cheeky and did a bit in work's time
It is work-related but I've got no official time for it there and I did work until 6.45 so I shouldn't feel so guilty...
- Haven't emailed yoga peeps but will still have time hopefully
- Used pixabay for free images for promo material; used picmonkey for free photo editing
- Washed lunch tubs in work - v important one for me as otherwise it's just an excuse not to take lunch

- Shifted some money about so almost everything is at 0% now - can start making some real inroads now we're living in a much more affordable house - rent is £250 a month cheaper than our rent was and council tax is around £100 pcm less

- Taking something back I don't think we'll use x 2
- Quiet night in - Apprentice night
- Still using the same mooncup I bought about 5 years ago (TMI?
) - List a roll of wallpaper for sale? - not worth paying the postage for a refund as think it might sell for more as I got it v cheap, but then I think I may as well return it cos not many people want just one roll in case it's a different batch etc... Hmmm one to think about...
Keep smiling troopers!
