TalkTalk customer, received there email today, should i cry?

I am one of four million others who is a talktalk customer. I received a email today from the company, relating to the cyber attack the company received on 21st October 2015.

The email tells me, my credit card information or bank account details have not been taken by hackers - good news i say!!!!

and then the bombshell.

Hackers have taken my name, my address, my registered email address and my telephone number (its not confirmed, if this is my landline number, my talktalk mobile number or both).

I am angry towards tyalktalk for not keeping my details safe, and i am deeply concerned criminals have my details.

whats worse, i cant even tell if this email is from talktalk. My trust with this company is at rock bottom.

Thank you talktalk for messing up on the third occasion!!

I guess, compared to ytourself, i should be lucky that i have received this information. it has taken this company almost three weeks to tell me this.

I am really concerned to be honest, this is the third time this company has experienced hackers, the last time was December 2014.

  • They took 10 days for them to even look at the email I sent to their cyberattack email address.

I got pretty standard reply back, expected guff. Anyway I switch ISP tomorrow.
