Unreported and settled accounts on credit reference agency files.

Hi all,

Sorry to be so dim but I am slightly confused (again)

I have checked with the CRA's as a post BR clear up. I have been doing this for over a year and finally all looking good for the big day 22/12/16 :j However, I have noticed a couple of accounts which are puzzling me..On my Equifax report it shows:

1st. I have a utility company (EON) showing "unreported" since March 2010, does this mean it will disappear March 2016?

2nd. A mortgage account with Cheshire Mortgages (NEVER EVER USE THEM) aka Jerrold Holdings. They have attached the mortgage account report too my current home address. The house was sold after bankruptcy (3yrs after) and paid off completely. It shows Acc. Settled June 2013 and AP since June 2010.
. When would this drop off?
. Should this be attached to current address rather than a standalone account?
. As this is settled in full, before the mortgage ended will this cause an issue in the future or will it just show creditors a settled mortgage account. (seems a tad unfair to keep the AP marker after the BR drops off, esp as the account was settled)

1st - no idea, sorry
2nd - assuming you went BR 6 years ago, you should also have a default with same date,in which case it'll drop off. Without default I think the account would stay until 6 years from closure. It's probably worth contacting creditor then regulator /ico to get this removed (as surely you defaulted when you went BR)

To be honest, not sure without seeing the account but sounds like we're waiting for something. If this is an old debt on a closed account, it could be there's been no bill released since it closed so nothing to report on. Happy to check for you. Just drop an email to the address in my Profile with the details and I'll take a look.
