Using O2 sim with old Sagem myX-6

Hi,

Pleas can someone help me to use my O2 sim in a Sagem myX-6?

I've got the code:
35157900366507 - 0

IMEISV: 01

But the phone says the sim is locked. Is there any way of unlocking it so I can use it?

I'm new here, so sorry if I'm asking an old question (couldn't find an answer after searching).

Iwould hazzard a guess that the phone is locked and not the sim card, do you use the o2 sim card now ? If so then it will be the phone that is locked, there is no free way to unlock these phones, if you take it to a phone unlocking shop they will unlock it for you for around £5, car boots also will have a stall where they do this.

The sim was usable in my O2-provided phone, which is not working now. The Sagem phone says "SIM locked", so I thought it was the SIM.

It looks like a trip to my friendly local backstreet unlocker, then.
